About Chase
Expert Analysis
Kevin Howell | Prep Hoops Scout
Chase is a connector forward with quiet value. At 6’7”, he’s a versatile offensive piece with functional movement and strong off-ball understanding. He’s effective in high-post seals, elbow actions and strong three point making skills. Easily fills into system structured offenses. Initiate from the top without poise and confidence, keeping the offense moving. Defensively, he has the size to guard wings and small-ball fours, giving coaches flexibility without sacrificing stability.

‘s high-post seals and off-ball screens, especially around the elbows, consistently opened driving lanes for his point guard and created perimeter opportunities for his off-guard. From the top of the key, Chase shows the ability to pop out, put the ball on the floor, and get to his mid-range spots, showcasing real offensive versatility. Hill plays within structure but also adds value as a connector, setting up actions with his screening angles, body positioning, and ability to flow into short-roll reads or second-chance opportunities.

‘s versatility is a key asset that would undoubtedly translate well to the next level. I first witnessed his prowess at the Space City Collision, where he showcased his skills alongside Arnold Elite. Standing at an impressive 6’7”, Chase’s offensive abilities are remarkable. His perimeter shooting is exceptional, allowing him to comfortably space the floor and create opportunities for his teammates. As a passer, Chase is highly effective, seamlessly integrating into the offensive flow and setting up his teammates for success. On the rebounding end, Chase’s willingness to crash the boards on both ends ensures his presence is felt throughout the interior.

His overall skillset aligns well with the pace-oriented style of a college coach, allowing Chase to comfortably position himself on the perimeter off the catch and capitalize on open looks. is a good all-around big man that’s very versatile on both sides of the ball. When rebounding the basketball, he did a great job securing defensive possessions for his team and creating extra possessions on the offensive end. Chase can really stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting ability being able to step further from the three-point line at times. In his game against
L3 Elite
17U Chase knocked down multiple attempts from the perimeter putting the opposition on their heels. When handling the ball up the floor he makes good passes to his teammates which starts great ball movement on offense or turns into assists setting his teammates up.

is a rare unicorn in today’s game of basketball! With his size and frame he shows signs of being one of the best guards in San Antonio. Standing at 6ft6 with his ability to back his defenders into the paint or face up and take them off a dribble.
He showed me a plethora of moves this past spring/summer 2024. Watching his growth on the circuit since 2022 with Arnold Elite has been fun. What impressed me the most was his range from behind the arch. He made so many shots look so easy. Every time he shoots I feel as if he won’t miss it.

, a 6’5” point-forward, showcased his unique ability to handle the ball and initiate the offense like a true point guard. He served as the primary playmaker, demonstrating high basketball IQ, a relentless motor, and the intangibles necessary to play at the college level. Hill continuously improves his game, creating mismatches by drawing larger, slower defenders away from the basket or overpowering smaller, quicker guards. He displayed excellent footwork in various scenarios, whether posting up and playing with his back to the basket or facing up and driving for a shot or pass. His fantastic court vision enabled him to make smart plays, and he efficiently nailed pull-up or spot-up three-pointers, particularly from the top of the key. Defensively, Hill protected the rim with chase-down blocks and forced kick-outs, proving his effectiveness on both ends of the court.
