The MADE Hoops and EHA Circuit collaboration was once again the best tournament for competition and prospect viewing in SoCal and below we take a look at the top shooters we saw at the 17u level who played well in front of college coaches and scouts.
Aram Urbano | 2025 | Los Angeles Elite
Urbano had multiple games of five-plus three-point makes and flashed some of the smoothest and most fundamental mechanics we saw on the weekend. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard/wing is an elite floor spacer with good feel for moving without the ball and coming off of screens to create space to get his shot off.
Colton Wells | 2025 | Built4Ball Force
Wells, a Washington state-based prospect, is one of those players who looks effortless when he shoots the ball. At 6-feet-6 with good positional size and length, Wells was a consistent threat on spot-up three-pointers over the weekend but also used an effective shot fake and one or two dribble pull-up in the mid-range area.
Ethan Johnson | 2024 | Build Your Way Elite
The unsigned senior out of Sierra Canyon high school doesn’t need much time or space to get his shot off and the ease in which he can shoot from deep might be the most impressive part of his shooting arsenal. Johnson, a 6-foot-3 off-guard, has an effortless release with multiple spot and range consistency both off the catch and off the bounce.
Isaiah Ackerman Isaiah Ackerman 6'3" | SF Aptos | 2025 State CA-N | 2025 | Team Arsenal
Ackerman stood out because of his efficient all-around game but it was his ability to knock down deep three’s both as a primary ball handler and spot-up guy that was consistently good throughout the weekend. The 6-foot-4 guard/wing flashed a quick one, two pull-up off the bounce and got great elevation on his mid-range and three-point jump shots.
Jaden Hubbard Jaden Hubbard 6'3" | SG Orange Lutheran | 2024 State CA-S | 2024 | Cali Rebels
There’s no distance of shot that Hubbard doesn’t have the confidence to make. The 6-foot-2 shooting guard has some of the quickest shot prep in the state and his ability to get his feet set quickly off the move, square to the rim and release despite pressure from a defender makes him a dangerous shooter. Hubbard is a fearless and unconscious type of shooter who can knock in shots in flurries.
Katrelle Harmon | 2026 | NW Rotary Rebels
Harmon is a smooth operator with the ball in his hands who can seamlessly transition from breaking down a defender in isolation to rising up for a mid-range or deep three-point shot off the bounce. Harmon is a space creator off the bounce with his fluid athleticism and ability to cover ground with limited dribbles. The elevation and high release on his shot are the separators that allow him to get clean looks in various settings.
