Good size on this athletic wing. Very explosive to the rim with strength and athleticism. A rim protector and outstanding rebounder. Game continues to evolve and a player we look forward to seeing this summer and throughout his coming senior year.
(Pictured) Very smooth stroke on this lefty shooter. Repeatable fluid motion. Really smart player. Finds the open spots on the floor. Constant motion to get free. Has the ability to shoot it off the bounce with his polished pull up game. Excellent rebounder.
Talib got his feet wet last year in his first varsity season. He showed he is ready. A big wing who handles the ball really well. Has great size but projects with his skill set as a wing. Attack’s the rim with a purpose. Rebounds well. His brother Qadir helped lead the resurgence of St Peters basketball expect Talib to help continue their rise under the tutelage of Coach Woods.
We were looking forward to seeing him last year but he had to sit out after transferring into Nazareth. He was one of the most impressive players we saw at last years pre season CHSAA team camp. So now it is his time to show what we missed last year. A high level skill set . Extremely smooth jump shooter. He looks effortlessly getting into the paint and scoring. Really good court vision and awareness in reading the defense to make the right play. Can rebound the ball and lead the break.
Outstanding shooter. Can drain it off the catch or off his own dribble. Deep range. Has a quick release with his hands ready and feet set. Showed the ability to get by defenders if they were guarding him to tight to take away the three. Heats up quickly.
