The Big Shots Richmond Jamfest took place the other weekend and there was a ton of teams from all over the east coast in attendance. Here's a look at some of the many standouts from the 15U division!

[player_tooltip player_id='2470557' first='Dean' last='Williams'] | 6'4” WG | [program_tooltip program_id='2226307' first='Team' last='Loaded VA']

Williams was a standout at Norfolk Academy as a freshman and has shown in the AAU Circuit that he could be one of the top young prospects in VA. The 6'4” wing already has a great frame with long arms and good size, and he has a deep bag that makes him a scoring threat in a lot of different ways. He knocked down shots from deep off the catch, he got downhill and to the rim in transition to finish and he got to spots and made shots in the midrange too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470573' first='Cam' last='Claiborne'] | 5'11” PG | [program_tooltip program_id='2226307' first='Team' last='Loaded VA']

Claiborne was a bench piece for a John Marshall team that won yet another state championship, and while he was overshadowed at times in high school he has shown in AAU why he was a part of them as just a freshman. He showed a lot of winning intangibles, making plays on both ends of the floor and showing the ability to run a team as well. He handled pressure and made good reads off the bounce, he knocked down shots from deep off the catch and he sat down and guarded the ball well too.

Kirby Duran | 6'1” CG | [program_tooltip program_id='2226307' first='Team' last='Loaded VA']

Duran is part of a young and talented Bishop McNamara team that will be a force in the WCAC over the next few years, and he was very impressive when we watched him at the event. The 6'1” combo guard has moxy to him and showed toughness, while also showing an elite skillset on the offensive end that makes him a big time weapon. He was lights out from deep shooting at an impressive clip on a high number of attempts, he showed a shifty handle and the ability to change speeds and directions and he made plays on both ends too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470600' first='Cy' last='Gresham'] | 6'3” WF | Team [program_tooltip program_id='2078805' first='Loaded' last='434']

Gresham is one of the small area prospects to keep an eye on in the 2027 class, as the West Point wing competed against some of the best and showed he belongs. He has a great frame with good size and length already and is likely still growing, and he has a lot of natural ability that should get better with time. He is a natural athlete who moves well and shows good bounce, he handled the ball well and was able to get to spots and score it and he has a ton of upside on the defensive end too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470549' first='Makel' last='Minor'] | 6'1” PG | Team Loaded NC

Minor was one of the top freshman in all of VA, putting up some super impressive numbers at James Monroe and showing he's one of the top prospects in Fredericksburg regardless of class. Despite his age, Minor has a very mature game that is well beyond his years, and his skillset is very impressive as well. He has a good frame and his ability to create space off the bounce is impressive, he has a good IQ as a playmaker and he knows how to score the ball in bunches from multiple levels as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194707' first='Jordyn' last='Houston'] | 6'7” PF | Team Loaded NC

Houston was a big part of Woodside's state championship run this year, and he looks like one of the most impressive bigs in the 2027 class. Houston has an advanced skillset for his age and also a great understanding of how to use his body and create opportunities for him to score. He moved well off the ball to create passing lanes to catch and finish, he showed good mobility to get up and down the floor to finish in transition and he was fantastic attacking the glass on both ends too.
