Lanier is entertaining to watch on the floor because of his versatility and ability to contribute on both ends. He's a 6'4 combo guard with decent athleticism and explosiveness that he uses to finish strong at the rim and contest layups on the defensive side with good hops. The forward prospect has good size and athleticism to be effective around the rim or the mid-range. Lubsey has displayed a good motor to stay active on the boards and displays solid agility to get up and down the floor. He's continuing to make noise in the off-season to show that he has the tools to make an impact at the next level.
