Across 5 games in Session 2, Batemon averaged 23.4 points per game and over 4.5 made threes per game on 44% shooting from behind the arc, including a game with 9 made threes. The 9 made three game was against Team Loaded VA and his shooting was the only thing keeping Power 5 in the game. Jamarion moves extremely well off the ball and always has shot-ready hands. There were multiple types of action run for Batemon to get him open, but the most frequent was an elevator which was very effective throughout the game. Jamarion's recruitment is still open and he holds offers from Iowa State, West Virginia, and Illinois among others.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1474820"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":2435251,"_player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Broderick is from my home coverage state of South Carolina and it has been really cool to watch him improve as a shooter. Southwick is a shooter who impressed with a good shooting performance against ETG Midwest. He plays on a very talented Utah Prospects squad who are the defending 3SSB Champions and are 6-3 through two sessions, so he doesn’t have the ball in his hands often but is expected to knock shots down when it is. John did have good volume in that matchup with ETG, showing his quick release, activity off the ball, and ability to shoot with his feet set or on the move. Apart from his shooting, Southwick is also comfortable making plays when run off the dribble and plays off two feet, and works hard to stay in front of his man on defense.
