Adidas 3SSB Session 2: Bench Weapons

Many of the nation's Top Prospects were in action, but these five players are some names that maybe you didn't know but are still very talented and recruitable. They stood out by showing their ability to make plays off the bench helping their team win through various attributes. After a slow start at the beginning of the game, Torian came in and instantly turned the offense around. He did so with his scoring, defensive rebounding, and ability to push the pace. He is a good athlete, a smart passer, and can hit shots from inside and out. Whether it's jumping a passing lane, impacting a shot, shooting over a defender, or finishing at the rim, he checks all the boxes for someone of his physical attributes. Kelley and Team Loaded have started 9-0 in the season and his production as a wing off the bench was important in their win over Power 5. He added 9 Points in 11 Minutes connecting on 3-4 attempts from three. He does a good job of coming in and knowing his role: spacing the floor, making plays of closeouts, and using his length to get stops on defense. He made both an instant and an important impact in the two Stars 16U games that I watched this weekend, going for 26 Points and 8 Rebounds against ASAK and 8 Points, 5 Rebounds, and 6 Assists vs Phenom United. Korie was very successful in putting pressure on the opponent's interior defense, scoring with efficiency in the paint through dribble drives and post-ups. He has a solid all-around game with few glaring weaknesses. His defensive instincts, in particular, stood out on Sunday in Alabama. Reggie does a great job of reading offensive sets to force turnovers or tough shots. He is also a dependable offensive option, capable of making plays off the dribble or spotting up on the perimeter.
