Zickert left his mark on the Prep Hoops Live event. He was a hardnosed tough guard. Zickert used his strength as a tool. He was willing and able to be more physical than most guards he matched up with. He thrived off contact, usually knocking his opponent off path and forcing the ball out of their hands. Zickert also showed that he can be a dependable 3 point shooter and finisher as well.
I liked what I saw from Whitehead over the course of the weekend. He was a quick guard that utilized his speed and ability to change direction. Whitehead was able to create space off the bounce and make plays for his Chicago Lockdown team. He was a consistent scorer that didn’t need to be shot heavy to get his.
Sundman is a very talented prospect that coaches are going to want to take a serious look at. He carries a very nice positional size and strength. Sundman showed at Prep Hoops Live that he’s a real threat to score from all 3 levels. He can power up a shot in a crowded lane as well as hit a jumper with range that extends beyond the arc. Sundman scored 37 points on a huge Saturday for him.
