The summer season is almost here as June is a little over a week away. The 2025 class is looking to make noise in the summer, especially in the frontcourt. Here are the 2025 under the radar power forwards who could have a big June.

[player_tooltip player_id='1981565' first='Wes' last='Shirk'], 6'5 Hunterdon Central

Shirk has the potential to have a big summer with his ability to score inside and out. The 6'5 forward has a nice release on his jumper as he wastes little motion and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. Shirk can also put the ball on the floor and finish through contact around the basket. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and holds his ground in the paint defensively. Shirk's ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his stock over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107865' first='Adiel' last='Fred'], 6'7 Paul VI

Fred has manned the post for the Eagles over the last two seasons and should continue it in 2024-25. The 6'7 forward knows how to get position down low and finishes nicely around the basket. Fred is unafraid of drawing contact down low and sets strong screens in the halfcourt. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated shot-blocker. Fred is a physical forward prospect whose ability to control the paint will help his game in a big way in the summer months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2348974' first='Manny' last='Doku'], 6'5 Holy Cross Prep

Doku also stars on the gridiron, but he makes an impact on the hardwood as well. The 6'5 forward has a good touch around the basket and finishes through contact down low. Doku can also put the ball on the floor and rarely forces shots in the halfcourt. He is a force on the boards at both ends and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Doku is a high-energy forward prospect who should make an impact in the paint throughout the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341240' first='Aiden' last='Sosinov'], 6'5 Manalapan

Sosinov is an intriguing forward prospect to watch with his ability to impact the game in a number of ways. The 6'5 forward finishes strong around the rim as he can throw down dunks and also finish through contact. Sosinov shoots the ball with confidence on the perimeter and moves well without the ball in his hands. He swats shots around the basket and is a strong rebounder. Sosinov is a versatile forward prospect who should make plays throughout the summer months.

Zack Patteta, 6'5 Watchung Hills

Patteta has had a big spring and is looking to carry it over into the summer. The 6'5 forward has a good face-up game as he can get to the rim off the bounce from the perimeter and can finish through contact around the rim. Patteta has a nice touch around the basket and can also pass out of the post. He works hard for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated defender. Patteta has the potential to breakout this summer with his ability to finish inside and handle the ball on the perimeter.
