Nate Chavez Nate Chavez 6'6" | SF Orono | 2025 MN of Orono (6’5 Sf). Chavez had a breakout season for Orono. On most nights he was a trusted player defending well, making the right choices with the ball and rebounding some. But then there were big scoring nights as well showing off a touch and a bit of a scoring burst that flashes some potential.
Cole Cole MN ‘ last=’Drill’] of Mound-Westonka (6’3 Sf). I see the Cole Cole MN ‘ last=’Drill’], it seems perfect for Coach Phillips. I look at the numbers, they are worth a note. Then you see that Drill has grown three inches and has played a few spots, he has to get on this list. At 14+ a game that is a nice jump from sophomore to junior year.
Vince Jacob Vince Jacob 6'0" | SG Totino Grace | 2025 MN of Totino-Grace (6’0, Sg). Jacob was the ninth man for the Eagles this year and played a nice role as a worker when he got in the game. Doing well for the Minnesota Heat as well.
Malik Johnson Malik Johnson 6'2" | SF Bloomington Kennedy | 2025 MN of Bloomington Kennedy (6’2 Sf). Johnson scored 15 a game with his aggressive approach to going to the hoop for Kennedy. Led his team in scoring after not being on the varsity roster last season.
Lucas Knudson Lucas Knudson 5'10" | CG Orono | 2025 MN of Orono (6’0 Cg). Knudson really did a nice job coming off the bench as a defender, as a back-up handler, and/or as a shooter. A good role player that will step into a bigger role as a senior.
Thomas Myers Thomas Myers 6'3" | SG Hill Murray | 2025 MN of Hill-Murray (6’3 Sg). Myers is a name that kind of came from nowhere. He is a good sized guard that has played well this 17u season after scoring 14 points a game for the Pioneers who were much improved.
Trenton Woodall-Jones of Fridley (6’2, Sg). The Tigers surprised many this year with their win total and with their balance. Trenton was one of five guys that scored in double digits averaging a dozen a game as a great shooter. He could have a huge year next season with the amount of players they lost to graduation.
Josiah Young Josiah Young 6'2" | SG Totino-Grace | 2025 MN of Totino-Grace (6’2, Sg). Young was a key player for the Eagles and while he is more of a football recruit we hear, his toughness and agility as a worker/defender allowed him to play down the stretch in big games. Young wasn’t needed for numbers, he was needed for trusted role minutes and he did that very well for the champ.
