Today we will dig deeper into the Pennsylvania Class of 2025 rankings and review four players who used the 2023-24 high school season to make a tremendous impression on us.
Below is a review of four southeastern Pennsylvania prospects from our updated 2025 rankings who we would send a college scholarship offer right now.
#18… Jayden Kelsey Jayden Kelsey 6'6" | CG Westtown School | 2025 State PA – 6’6” / Westtown School / Team Final / Wing: Kelsey holds offers from Lafayette and Towson, but more schools should be on this dynamic wing prospect. This lefty can drain threes, play in transition, and score off the dribble. Still, it is Kelsey’s surprisingly crafty handles and excellent court vision that college coaches will love. Kelsey uses those assets to deliver timely and creative passes to teammates. This season Kelsey (HM All-FSL selection) posted 10 points; 6 rebounds and 4 assists per game.
#49… Carter Wamsley Carter Wamsley 6'7" | PF Eastern York | 2025 State PA – 6’5” / Eastern York / York Ballers / Wing: Wamsley is an athletic point-forward prospect with a well-rounded skill set. He can score at all three levels, facilitate for teammates, rebound, and block shots. Highlighting Wamsley’s junior season was the 31 points and 10 rebounds effort he recorded against eventual 6A state champion Central York. Wamsley was a 1st Team All-YAIAA (Div. II) selection and led Eastern to the District 3-4A title. He holds an offer from Towson and has taken several campus visits, but Wamsley is significantly under recruited.
#61… Zamir Parker-Barnes Zamir Parker-Barnes 6'4" | CG Abington Friends | 2025 State PA – 6’4″ / Abington Friends / Philly Pride Select / Combo Guard: After transferring from Frankford HS, Parker-Barnes took the Friends League by storm in 2023-24. He is an extraordinary athlete who glides up and down the court. Thus, Parker-Barnes excels in transition. In the half-court, he can lace threes and slash to the cup for a bucket. Parker-Barnes can work the offensive glass for points too. During his junior campaign Parker-Barnes registered 16 points, 5 rebounds and 2.5 dimes per game. That stat line garnered him a 1st Team All-FSL nod.
#86… Jahrel Vigo Jahrel Vigo 6'1" | CG Allentown Central Catholic | 2025 State PA – 6’1” / Allentown Central Catholic / Team Final Red / Combo Guard: This versatile perimeter prospect with off-the-charts athleticism averaged 18.3 ppg. during the regular season. Then in the 4A state tournament, Vigo exploded for a 35-spot (1 three) as well as 25-point performance. Vigo thrives in transition where he can finish or drop a dime to an open teammate for any easy bucket. In the half court, Vigo is a dribble drive wizard and creative finisher. He can also slash to the cup for a catch and lay-in. Quinnipiac is among the mid-majors expressing interest in Vigo.
