A long wing who has the right mix of skills to be a solid 3&D type player. Avary can shoot it pretty well behind the arc but also has the length and athleticism to convert some tough finishes inside, and that length and bounce also helps him play a key role defensively. He has a long wingspan and quick enough feet to defend on the perimeter but can also rise up and send shots back near the rim. He continues to expand his game off the dribble and should be a player to watch this spring with Perseverance Pirates .
He’s a crafty guard who can run the show and played his role exceptionally well last season. He’s a guy who can set things in motion, relocate and knock down the open shots, but also has the ability to create off the bounce and is strong enough to create good contact inside and finish around bigger bodies. He’ll have a larger role next season at North Kitsap and is a kid to watch with Tacoma United who should be able to show how his role can expand this spring.
Fyfe is one of the top shooters from up north and can knock down shots with extended range and defenders running him down. He’s an excellent spot up threat but can also hit you with a pump and knock down the middy or create space off the dribble to hit inside the arc. He’ll line up with Team 360 Hoops this spring and should get plenty of chances to show off his range.

Jordan played more of a forward role for Lake Roosevelt last season but he has all the makings of a two-way guard. He plays smart hoop, picks and chooses his spots to attack off the dribble, and makes the most of his dribbles, but can also spot up and knock down the 3 at a good rate. Defensively, he’s a ready player who relies on good positioning and high effort to make plays and brings a positive attitude to the floor.
Nelson was a key guy for Glacier Peak on their run last season and is a hard worker who can contribute in lots of ways on the floor. He’s playing with D1 Elite this spring and could get to show off more of his offensive skill set. He’s a guy who is a tireless worker out there, mixing it up on the glass, selling out defensively, and popped for a few big scoring games this past year. Strong finishing inside, good playing off two feet, and he can sink the occasional 3-pointer.
Highlights
Not sure who Schmitz is playing with this spring but he’s a flamethrower from deep that is worthy of a look. He can really get it going from outside but doesn’t let that define his game. He also shows good patience in the midrange to let players fly by after a pickup, uses ball fakes, and stays balanced to rise up and knock shots down. He’s got some good quickness and burst too and could be a player to take a big step forward next season.
Westlund is a big, strong, athletic forward who will really test the strength of your rims in transition. He’s a power finisher on the break and working low in the half court and has a great engine on the court that led to over 10 rebounds a game last season. He won’t kill you with a bag of moves from the blocks, but he finds lanes to work the glass and will pound you all game if you allow him to get low position and outrun you down the court.
