Williams is a great floor general for the Gateway Knights Basketball Club . First saw him play last year playing up at the time back in Rock Hill. He plays with a great demeanor at all times and seems to really have a good feel for the game.
Christian came up time after time today with his play by scoring the ball from 3 levels on the floor. He made some clutch shots down the stretch in an opening round game vs the Mountain Stars that went in Double-Overtime. Williams rarely leaves he floor and does a nice job of changing speeds and directions with the ball in his hands.
Camp has a very soft touch on his shot around the paint area. Brock shows to have good footwork and some deceptiveness to his game. He’s not flashy at all but effective inside the paint area. He worked for position well today down low on the block with his back to the basket.
Brown really showed a nice touch on his shot. Ethan shoots the ball at a very good clip from the perimeter. He was always ready in position to receive the ball in the pocket. Ethan has a great shot release and knocked down several three-pointers in the game we were able to watch of the Gateway Knights.
Highlights
Eddie was extremely efficient with his play here today. Smajic was extremely aggressive on both ends of the court with his play. He really takes pride on playing defense. Eddie handled the rock well from his position and moved extremely well without the ball in his hands. He knocked down several jumpers here today in the win.
Ghai just glides all over the floor it seems with his play. Symon originally from Sudan was able to challenge and alter shots on the defensive end of the floor all day here. Surprisely he can handle the rock up the floor by putting the ball on the deck. Symon has an incredible wingspan and quick feet to move around the paint area.
Toure is a great on the ball defender and really looks to make plays on both ends of the court. Gassim likes the weight room and has added 18 pounds since arriving in the United States from Guinea. He really looks to overpower defenders to the bucket at times with his play. Gassim was able to score at the rack on several occasions with his play.
Cisse is very much improved from a year ago. Sekou was able to finish over both shoulders a times here today. He likes to play on contact and really does a nice job of running the floor. Still new to the game will keep improving for sure. Sekou can step out and defend on the perimeter and does a nice job of keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass.
Foulk is a confident shooter and it showed today in a win over Texas Impact. He dropped 15 points in the win. Will played both guard spots here today showcasing some crafty passing skills along the way.
