Landyn Smith Landyn Smith 5'9" | SG Thompson Middle School | 2028 AL (6’0/CG/’28/ Pro One )
IG: landyn4ushoopaz / proonebc

Landyn is a young CG who is a budding young prospect who can score the rock. He is tough off the bounce and was one of the toughest isolation scorers I have seen in the 2028 class this spring. He has the tools to become a dynamic and versatile weapon over the next couple of years. He is a shifty ball-handler who does a great job of finding angles to get to the basket and changing speeds and directions keeping his defender off balance. He is a highly confident backcourt talent making noise in the 2028 class within the state.
Evan Wilson Evan Wilson 6'8" | PF Cullman | 2025 State AL (6’8/PF/’25/ Pro One )

Evan has been shining early as he has shown his physical play and impact on both ends of the floor. He is a lengthy, versatile prospect who scores the rock in a variety of ways. He can knock down the trey ball, score with his low block moves as he plays with his back to the basket, and manufacture points off the offensive glass. He can play either forward spot and can guard up to three positions. He is very good at covering ground to contest jump shots and to contest shots at the rim that are out of his area. He is a quality rebounder who brings a lot of energy and effort to the floor. If he continues on the trajectory he is on this off-season, look for Evan’s game to take a couple jumps by the end of the grassroots season.
Xavion Johnson (6’1/CG/’27/Bars Elite)
IG: zaywitdasteals_ / barselite
X: @WrldOfZay4 / @barselite_
Xavion is an aggressive backcourt talent who can go get a bucket at any moment. He is still developing and adding to his game, and he has looked good early in the grassroots season. He has shown impressive confidence in initiating the offense and creating his own shot off the dribble. He is an extremely difficult cover off the bounce, as it is very hard to keep him out of the paint. When it comes to Xavion, you cannot get pass his aggressiveness as a slasher, as he does a good job initiating contact, finishing through contact, and being the more aggressive player in his one-on-one match-ups.
Victor Odiari Victor Odiari 6'6" | SF Clay-Chalkville | 2025 State AL (6’6/F|C/’25/Magic City Jayhawks)
IG: showt1me_v1c / McJayhawks
X: @Victor_Odiari11 / @mcjayhawks
Victor is a highly active athlete whose athleticism creates an advantage for him when he is out on the floor. I have not seen many who could match his explosiveness off the floor and his ability to run the floor like a deer. He has good length, which helps him to defend in space and on the low block. He provides rim protection and has the potential to be a double-digit rebounder on any given night. Offensively, he can put it on the floor and attack from the perimeter, and he showed his ability to get into his middle game. His athleticism allows him to make winning plays all over the floor, and he is a factor every time his team takes the floor.
Garrett Mahone (5’8/CG/’27/Iron City Huskies)
IG: 3exclusive.garrett / ironcityhuskies
X: @GMahone22
I have put ink on Garrett before, but it was while he was playing middle school ball. Now that he is playing at the high school level, watching him early will give me a baseline on which to monitor his development. He is a small lead guard who has the ability to score. He is a listed combo guard but spends most of the time at the point guard position. He has good court awareness and playmaking skills. He turns on the burners in the open floor and is shifty off the bounce in the half-court, constantly getting into the heart of the defense. He has been providing some solid performances and is getting better at the PG spot.
Skyler Stovall Skyler Stovall 6'5" | SG Montgomery Academy | 2025 State AL (6’5/SG/’25/We Play)
IG: Skysto22 / Weplayhoops
X: @ Skysto22_ / @Weplayhoops
Skyler is an explosive backcourt talent who has been turning heads early in the grassroots season. He has good positional size and is a tough cover off the bounce, as he constantly slashes his way through defenses on his way to the cup. He is a crafty finisher at the rim but has a very good mid-range pull-up jumper in his toolkit. Skyler is a true threat from inside the arc off the bounce and has a knack for scoring the rock. On top of his ability to pull up off the bounce, Skyler does a good job using step-backs and step-aways to create space to get his shot off. He is a crafty shotmaker, and his scoring prowess is going to be a reason he sees his stock rise this off-season.
