Got to see the Virgin Valley guard during the playoffs. He had one of the best under the radar freshman seasons of any player in the class, averaging 7 per game. He enters as a top 60 player in his first appearance in the rankings.
Birch is a player that I spotted while scouring the back gyms. The big man has a ton of potential, mostly due to his ability to run the floor and move laterally. He makes an appearance as a top 70 player in the class.
Jordan is a player that got on the radar with his participation in the Venom Rankings Run. The jitterbug PG makes an appearance as a top 80 player, his first time in the rankings.
Dunaway was one of my fresh faces when I caught him down in Arizona. He’s a smart tough player that helps his team in ways that don’t necessarily show up in the box score. He enters as a top 80 player in the rankings.
I also saw Leaureaux during the Independent Hoops Final Four run. He got on the radar because of his willingness to compete and provide energy for his team. He enters as a top 70 player in his first appearance.
Bryant is a big bodied post who impressed when I caught him in the backgym. He’s showed terrific footwork combined with some quality low post moves. The young back to the basket big man enters as a top 80 player in his first appearance in the rankings.
Love the pace that Rittenhouse plays with. The skilled freshman guard enters the rankings in a top 80 position in his first appearance.
Hoffman really impressed when I caught him in the back gym early in the season. A good two way player, Hoffman has the talent and skill to be a future stockriser. He is one of the highest new additions in the rankings, coming in as a top 60 player in his first appearance.
With everyone looking for shooters, expect Abittan to be in high demand. I was thoroughly impressed when I saw the sharpshooter during the state tournament. Coming off a year that saw him average nearly 9ppg for a 2A Final four squad he enters close to the top 50 in his first appearance.
When you turn on the film of the 2027 game during the Venom Rankings Run, you’re going to notice Bowman. He impressed, getting himself on the rankings with his performance. The lefty is a talented shot maker who received a top 60 ranking in his first appearance.
Big time players make big time plays in big time games. Espinoza saved one of his biggest and best performances for the playoffs. He calmly knocked down multiple threes, going down fighting in the playoff defeat to Gorman. He comes in as one of the highest ranked new addition, as a top 30 player.
The Spring Valley guard impressed when I saw him during the winter. The shifty PG comes in as a top 80 player in his first appearance in the rankings.
It took some persistence, but the Canyon Springs guard finally got on the rankings radar. Vance is a player who impressed with some of his back gym performances during the season. He enters as a top 80 player in his first appearance in the rankings.
