is now over at Pinecrest Sloan Canyon where he should step into a big role for them. He is crafty with the the rock on offense, and slashes to the cup with good pace. Leaureaux also converts tough finishes and will make defenses pay if they give him too much room to operate. When it comes to defense, the 2027 guard doesn’t take possessions off and I like how he is often applying ball pressure. Overall, he’s a productive prospect who looks due for a breakout season with the Pirates.

Now in new threads with a whole new Pinecrest Sloan Canyon team, Angelo is leading the way for them as a CG. The 6’2″ incoming senior put his facilitation on full display all game, utilizing penetration and paint touches to find the open man on kick outs. Any time the help didn’t slide over, he made them pay with a layup of his own. “Gelo” looked real comfortable from the start and never wavered from that feeling as he controlled the pace of the game in a blowout victory against SECTA.

is over at Pinecrest now, and was in attack mode most of the game against Coronado. He uses pace, his handles, and athleticism to get to his spots. Many of his drives resulted in a layups, and I was also a fan of how he was distributing the ball to his teammates. With his IQ and deception, he’ll likely be a consistent contributor for the Pirates.

is up 6 spots. He is assertive and fearless on offense when driving to the rack. He also does a nice job of locating the rim once it’s time to go up with it. Leaureaux is capable of hitting jumpers as well and makes the right passes to his teammates. As a defender, he works hard and ties the ball up every so often.

I also saw Leaureaux during the Independent Hoops Final Four run. He got on the radar because of his willingness to compete and provide energy for his team. He enters as a top 70 player in his first appearance.

Leaureaux stood out with his productivity and energy. He played hard, and managed to be effective when he could operate in space. The lefty finished several tough drives to the rack, getting himself on the radar with his performance.
