Now that the 12+ hour day is in the books it is time to highlight some of the top individual performers from the two events. Let’s dive right in.
Playing in front of a pair of Crossroads League programs that have offered him, Betten put on a strong display of his talented early on Saturday morning. In the 8:00 a.m. game he led Grand Park Premier Pro16 with 18 points in a 70-58 victory. The 6’7″ left-handed forward showed off his positional athleticism and excellent passing ability along with obviously putting the ball in the basket.

There was a noticeable difference in the vertical athleticism displayed by Briscoe on Saturday than even what he showed during the recent high school season. He had an early putback dunk and then a huge slam on the roll that were as impressive of above-the-rim finishes that I’ve seen from the 6’8″ forward playing with Indiana Elite. That added burst, along with knocking down a couple of three-point shots like he did, could really unlock his potential as a high-major prospect.
This Richmond High School guard played very well to start the morning off for Grand Park Premier Pro16. He knocked in a couple of three-point shots, displayed some shiftiness and athleticism in the open floor, and finished well around the basket at the end of his drives. Carpenter always plays hard and finds ways to contribute to winning.

Dokes played up in the evening game and ended up being a difference-maker around the basket for Progeny UA Rise 2025 as they defeated Darius Garland Elite 68-66. The 6’5″ forward doesn’t give up any physicality, even when playing up an age group, and was effective as an interior scorer. Impressive offensive skill set.
An under-the-radar name worth checking out this spring and summer for Circle City Shooters NXT, Green is a 6’5″ forward with really impressive athleticism and length. Green had a couple dunks where he skied will above the rim to finish. His bounciness is pretty special and he flashed some overall offensive skill level at times as well.

I am an evaluator, not a promoter, so I rarely speak in these terms. However, my job is ultimately to work for college coaches and help find them the best talent in the state of Indiana. If you are a Division II coach you need to call Jevon Guess Jevon Guess 6’6″ | PF Warren Central | 2025 State IN and offer him. Not tomorrow. Not after you come see him play. Just do it right now. That is how impressive he was on Saturday for George Hill All Indy. Saginaw Valley State pulled the trigger.
Hurt continues to put his improved three-point shooting on display as he had it cooking from beyond the arc in a couple of stretches on Saturday for Indiana Elite Team Indiana . It almost isn’t fair to even call his shooting ability “improved” anymore because it was very good during this past high school season too, but he has come a long way in our eyes from when he was younger. Legitimate threat to make three-point shots off of the dribble now and still as explosive with the ball in the open floor.
You really can’t ask for better physical tools in a wing than what Townsend possesses. The 6’6″ Marion High School product is built like a NFL player and had it working for Darius Garland Elite on Saturday night score a game-high 20 points in a tough, two-point loss. Townsend has an excellent pull-up game for his size, handles the ball well, and also connected on three three-point shots. Definite take for low-major programs and should be closely evaluated by mid-majors.
