Continue ReadingOn Wednesday, April 3rd we released our updated Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings. This is always a tough, time-consuming process as we at Prep Hoops Indiana pride ourselves on putting out the most thorough, and accurate, prospect rankings in the country. Along with the updated rankings we like to break things down a little deeper with stock-risers, new names, positional rankings, regional rankings, and much more. This gives us a chance to talk about as many of the prospects on an individual level as possible. Ultimately, that is what makes us unique at Prep Hoops. We don’t just put out rankings a few times a year because it drives traffic and subscribers. We aim to still provide valuable content along with the much-anticipated update. Here are six prospects who are making their debut in this Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings update.
Bock is an athletic, fluid 6’6″ forward who can run the floor and is bouncy vertically around the basket. He has been a key piece to the Sullivan Golden Arrows for two seasons now and averaged 12.4 points to go with 5.9 rebounds per game this season. The way he moves around at his size is what makes him such an intriguing prospect for the future. He makes his debut at #54 in our Class of 2026 rankings.

One of the top standouts from our Prep Hoops Indiana Spring Exposure Session a few weeks ago, Craney showcased his versatile offensive skill set at 6’5″ on the wing. The Perry Central High School sophomore averaged 11.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game and should have a breakout summer.

One of the top producers in the state that you may not have heard of, this 5’11” guard led South Bend Clay High School in every major statistical category as a sophomore. Jones averaged 21.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 3.0 steals per game for the Colonials and was one of the top players in the area. He makes his debut in our Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings at #33 overall.
Admittedly, Parra might have the least statewide publicity and recognition of the four star sophomores at Mt. Vernon (Fortville) High School. However, he is an excellent prospect in his own right as proven by his strong campaign this season averaging 8.7 points per game and stepping into a larger role in the absence of what would have been the Marauders leading scorer for much of the season.
An intriguing big man here in the Class of 2026, Scholl averaged 15.2 points and 8.0 rebounds per game for a Northridge team that won 18 games this season. The 6’6″ post player displays excellent footwork around the basket to go with impressive strength for his age and a soft touch when finishing at the rim. He makes his prospect rankings debut at #49 in the class.

Wilcox is a very intriguing prospect that should have a big summer for Grand Park Premier to burst onto the scene across the state. The 6’7″ forward had a big season for Southwood averaging 15.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game to solidify himself as a Top 50 prospect in the class. His upside is what is exciting as he could continue to rise from his debut spot at #47 in our rankings.
