Evans made countless hustle and effort plays, oftentimes his fight for the ball resulted extra possessions for his team. He brought a lot of intangibles to the table that made him the most reliable player on the floor as he never took a play off, always knowing exactly what you’re going to get from him.
Evan Duncan Evan Duncan 6’6″ | PF Garland-Naaman Forest | 2025 TX displayed a unique combination of size, skill, instincts, and timing. His hands were always active, combining ball pokes with his shot-blocking prowess and defensive presence made him a force on the court. Offensively, Duncan consistently looked to set off ball picks unprompted, utilizing back screens, and pin downs to open up his guards.
Highlights
His feel for the game stood out each time he was on the floor. Lefty with an effective jumper, great touch, and easy release. Good spot-up shooting threat and kick-out option, Hejny got hot with his knock down ability from the corner, lighting contesting defenders up as they flew at him.
Offensively, Jared Jordan Jared Jordan 5’9″ | CG Denton Braswell | 2025 TX showed that he can finish at the rim with either hand, adjusting to contact well, absorbing all blows to the body in his way up. He changed the game with his nonstop relentless effort, showcasing the type of competitive spirit you can always count on. From the school season to the circuit season, Jared Jordan Jared Jordan 5’9″ | CG Denton Braswell | 2025 TX has proven to be one of the best on and off-ball perimeter defenders in the state. He understands how and when to go under or over screens, he tightens up to fight over without fouling, and is quick enough in his recovering time to go under without giving up the shot. He was also a great helpside defender who quickly closed gaps, hedged the penetrator, and even got a hand on the ball as his opponent attempted to go up. Jared competed with outstanding grit and grind. There was a noticeable shift in the in-game action on both ends anytime he was or wasn’t on the floor, controlling the pace of play, moving off the ball within the offense, and also defending effectively within the team rotations.
