Portland Spring Preview: Top players from WA

He helped the 17u squad get to the championship, draining catch and shoot threes all weekend long. He hit 5/6 three's in the semi final to help his team get the win. He knows his strengths on the court and knows how to adjust to what the defense gives him due to his high IQ. Guyo has a fantastic shot, easily draining threes and mid-range shots off the catch or straight off the dribble. He shot the ball really well from his catch and shoot spots but more impressively was able to get downhill smoothly throughout games using his body frame and strength. I honestly see a lot of younger [player_tooltip player_id='1457515' first='Jeremiah' last='Wright'] in Veldman. Both are very strong in the paint, finishing through traffic and crashing the boards hard. He showed tremendous upside on the offensive side of the ball, using his length to his advantage. His mid-range jumper is smooth as he is able to rise above opposing players to get his shot off. McCann showed he can guard both guard positions and some lengthy wings due to his wingspan and improved foot speed.
