This player thrives on fundamentals, always playing off two feet and staying balanced in traffic. He methodically picks apart defenses with patient reads and smart decisions. A true three-level scorer, he is dangerous at the rim, has a smooth pull-up mid-range jumper, and can knock down shots from deep. His reliable shooting and poised approach make him a matchup problem for any defense.
James has shown remarkable growth, consistently improving his game in all aspects. He excels at attacking the ball with aggression and finishing through contact, making him a formidable presence on the court. His ability to knock down shots at a high rate showcases his scoring efficiency. Additionally, he effectively uses his dribble to create space, allowing him to get open and release his shot with precision.
James has shown consistent growth, becoming more athletic and crafty on the offensive side of the ball. His strong frame allows him to dominate the boards, consistently pulling down crucial rebounds. Offensively, he uses his physicality to create space, finishing through contact with ease. His evolving skill set makes him a versatile threat, impacting the game at both ends of the court.
James’ game took a big step over the summer during his AAU play. He played up a few years, competing at the 17u level with Oly Academy. His frame and stength matched well with opposing players and he was able to get his buckets in a variety of ways. He can knock down catch and shoot threes, letting his teammates get down-hill and kick it out. He can also take over with the ball in his hands and easily get to his spots to get buckets.
James had a huge summer for Oly Academy, playing 17u and doing a great job at holding his own. He is strong when getting downhill, using his body and frame to his advantage. When given a mismatch, it is almost an automatic bucket every single time. He creates well for his teammates and can play just as effectively off ball, knocking down deep shots off the catch with ease.
James impresses me more and more each time I see him play live. He plays years beyond his age and knows the game naturally very well. His high basketball IQ leads to easy shots for himself or his teammates. Morgan can work just as efficiently with the ball in his hands or not, always getting to his spots still. Morgan will surprise many people next year.
James is a strong guard who plays years above his age. He has been gaining big exposure and expirence by playing at the 17u level during the AAU season. Morgan is going to dominate at Black Hills next year with his overall game has improved. He gets to the bucket smoothly and with ease while knocking down 3’s at a high rate.
Morgan is a hard worker who’s done a lot of his damage with strength and quick bursts in and around the paint. He has a good combo of raw physicality and precise footwork that allows him to get the edge on defenders and take advantage of small openings. He’s starting to play further out too, showing an improved shot from behind the arc, and a lot of the moves he uses close in can apply further out, helping him be effective from the perimeter too.
James has been playing up a couple years on the AAU scene, dominating 17u ball for Oly Academy. He moves with the ball well as he can drive with either hand and get to the bucket easily. His deep shot is consistent if he is left open on the perimeter so defenders need to stay on their toes. He is strong for his size, being able to out body opposing players using his solid frame.
James had a big weekend playing for Team Oly. He showed strength, composure, high basketball IQ, and a toughness that not a lot of players his age has. He shot the ball really well from his catch and shoot spots but more impressively was able to get downhill smoothly throughout games using his body frame and strength. He is someone to keep an eye on.
