Ryan Neidigk
Ryan Neidigk
Ryan is a strong combo guard that caught fire in his 1st game of action connecting on six 3-pointers. Also a strong driver, Ryan converted on several contested lay-ups at the rim.
Anthony Enechukwu Jr.
Anthony Enechukwu Jr.
Anthony is a energetic big man that consistently runs the floor rim-to-rim beating opposing bigs down the floor. A rebounding machine, Anthony snagged rebounds on both sides of the floor along with multiple blocks and deflections. Offensively his game is still developing as he works to be a more fluid offensive threat.
Tyce Herring
Tyce Herring
Arguably the most skilled post player in the entire 6th grade division, Herring was able to assert himself throughout the weekend vs opposing players. Only a 6th grader, Tyce has phenomenal footwork for a young player. He already has the ability to play productively off his pivot both with his back to the basket and facing up. Using shot fakes and up and under counters Herring can finish smoothly using both his right and left hands around the rim. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him as he reportedly has only been playing organized basketball for 2 years. One of his better games came against the Underdawgz in which he tallied 13 points.
Baron Flennory
Baron Flennory
Baron came into the tournament on my radar as he is considered one of the top players in the state in the 2030 class. Already a polished offensive player, Flennory approaches the game with a confident demeanor and pace. Baron led his team to 4 wins on the weekend. In the championship game Flennory nailed four 3-pointers, finishing with 20 points in a victory. If Baron continues to work on his game and add a more fiery edge on the defensive side he will become a bonafide elite prospect in the future.
Martino Cruz
Martino Cruz
Martino is a gritty young player that know how to use his body to apply pressure on his opponents. Defensively, he flies around and creates havoc resulting in steals and blocks all over the floor. His offensive game is still developing but he can definitely get buckets at will. As his team went 4-0 on the weekend, Cruz poured in 10 points in the championship game and connected on two 3-pointers.
