Vinny Corrado Vinny Corrado 6’4″ | CG Westfield Community | 2028 IL was one of the tallest and most athletic prospects that competed at this past weekend. Corrado is 6’4 and he moves really well for his size. He demonstrated that he has the ability to score down low and rebound at a high rate but he is also good enough to step out and bring up the ball or screen at the three point line. He is someone that dives hard to the basket off of his screening action but he can also let it go from a litter further away from the basket. The ceiling with Corrado is high. If he continues to grow moving forward, while sharping his skills, the sky will be the limit.

What Reed Rutledge brings to the table is a calm play-style, nice handle, and a whole lot of crafty game-play. Rutledge understands situations and he is good at leading his team in whatever they are trying to accomplish. If the defense doesn’t pick him up in the full court, he can make his way to the bucket for an easy finish. If they play off of him on the three point line, he has a beautiful shooting stroke. All in all, he showed poise this weekend whenever his team took the floor and it was note-worthy.

Camden Bautista Camden Bautista Flinn Middle School | 2028 IL is an individual from this past weekend that showed promise. Bautista has great size for his age at 6’1, muscle mass to go along with that size, and a lot of heart on both sides of the floor. He still has a long way to go in his basketball career but he has the foundation to be someone to know. He moves well for his size and he is someone that is a willing communicator with his fellow teammates, especially in tight situations. As long as he continues to fall in love with the process, he is going to continue to get better and that’s a scary thought after what I saw this weekend.
I only had a chance to see this DHawks 2028 team twice this past few days but every time they took the floor, they were impressive to say the least. One of their best scorers and playmakers was #11 – Parker Sanders. Sanders is very good in whatever he is doing on the court but he is elite in his ability to score the basketball. He can score from all three levels, while having a nasty floater in the midrange. He is someone that can pass when things open up and he is very good in 1v1 situations. This team has guards on guards. Prospects that are going to be able to play at a high level in the future if they stick with it over-time.
Brody Dreeszen Brody Dreeszen Waukee Northwest HS | 2029 IL may be a prospect out of the 2029 Class but he is competing with an athletic and fast Slam City 2028 team. Dreeszen is shifty, years ahead of his age in skill, and very smooth when things start to get hectic. This is a team that has 7-8 players on roster and Dreeszen is the only 2029. He obviously shows his worth every time he takes the floor and because of that, he is playing up on this team at a consistent level.
