His scoring prowess was on full display, everything was going his way as he knocked down jumpers ranging from mid-range to beyond the arc. Lashley delivered one of the most spectacular sequences of the weekend that truly stole the show. In less than a minute, Lashley drained 3 consecutive three-pointers, drilling two on the left wing and another in the corner, showcasing his remarkable shooting ability and composure under pressure despite being knocked off balance and falling to the ground, managing to convert the shot and draw the foul for the and-1 opportunity. Lashley’s versatility as a scorer was evident, whether spotting up for shots or creating his own off the dribble. With a quick release and impeccable footwork, he consistently found success from long range, leaving defenders scrambling to contest his shots.

Lawrence Scott Lawrence Scott OK lit up the scoreboard with some impressive scoring displays, tallying 24 points, 26 points, and a weekend high of 34 points. As an opportunistic scorer with a strong basketball IQ, Scott proved to be explosive with the ball in his hands while also displaying patience and poise as a playmaker. His versatility was evident as he showcased shot-making ability from all three levels of the court while letting the game come to him, making him a potent threat in crunch time. Scott’s hot streak in the second-half stretched the lead to the point of no return. Ankle-breaking handles and elusive crossovers, he put defenders on skates, even dropped a few to the floor. Scott consistently left defenders grasping at air as he maneuvered his way to the basket. His ability to navigate traffic and finish with finesse, particularly with his dominant right hand, made him a constant scoring threat. With a combination of shifty moves, shaky crossover, killer in-and-out, good hip swivels, and pounds the ball with a purpose as he penetrates low. Scott proved to be a nightmare for opposing defenses to contain all weekend.

Ethan Butler stood out as one of the most consistent game changers of the weekend, making impactful contributions that were always conducive to winning. Butler excelled at producing second and third chance points, securing four putback shots in his final game, highlighting his reliability as a teammate always ready to clean up the mess. Butler showcased strong ball-handling skills under pressure, displaying versatility in pace and direction changes. His keen sense of when to attack the basket, pull up for a shot, or distribute to a teammate displaying excellent decision-making and shot selection. Furthermore, his ability to move without the basketball created numerous kick-out opportunities as defensive attention shifted.
Braden Buckingham Braden Buckingham 6’0″ | PG Crossings Christian School | 2026 State OK proved to be purest three-point shooter in the 16U division, showcasing an unparalleled and unconscious catch-and-release prowess that left opponents in awe. With his lightning-quick release and picture perfect form, Buckingham changed the game as a true marksman from beyond the arc, effortlessly sinking shots from all around the perimeter of the court with remarkable consistency, even when stretching his range out, he confidently launched shots well beyond the three-point line with deadly accuracy. Automatic when unguarded and just as lethal with defenders in his face, remaining unfazed and often delivering buckets with ease. His shooting versatility was evident as well as he transitioned from catching and shooting to creating his own shot off the dribble comfortably, all while remaining exceptionally efficient, rarely if ever missing consecutive shots. Beyond his shooting prowess, Buckingham demonstrated sound fundamental, a good basketball IQ, and deceptive ball control skills, consistently outmaneuvering defenders or getting them off their feet with his pivot footwork and crafty ball fakes to secure scoring opportunities in the lane.

Deign Kendall’s a natural basketball player with high level instincts and IQ, showcasing a remarkable understanding of both on and off-ball play. Very unselfish playmaker, he kept everyone involved equally. He also showed off his court vision anytime he took the baseline, consistently looking to hit his open teammates across the court in the corners or on the wings, showing a crafty ability to weave through traffic. His standout trait lies in his uncanny ability to slash past defenders, capitalizing on split-second openings or exploiting moments of defensive lapse. This slashing prowess is complemented by Kendall’s multidimensional scoring abilities, as he adeptly outmaneuvers defenders with crafty ball fakes and precise footwork. Plays off two feet better than any prospect in the event. Excellent footwork, can stop on a dime and pivot to create space showing patience and forward thinking. His scoring arsenal features a balanced attack, comprising dynamic drives, catch-and-shoot opportunities, and smooth pull-up jumpers.
