Continue ReadingI came away from the Venom Ranking Run thoroughly impressed with Wilson. He is one of the best undersized rebounders that I’ve seen. If he brings that signature skill to the Grassroots circuits, look for the Sunrise Mountain energy guy to put together a breakthrough campaign.
I can easily see Toms having a big time shooting game this Grassroots season. He has a knack for making shots in catch and shoot situations. With shooting at such a premium, his ability to space the floor and change the scoreboard will provide him with an opportunity for a breakout Grassroots season.
Highlights
Lewis is an active high flyer. He didn’t play during the high school season, so AAU will be the perfect opportunity for him to shine. If the bouncy, active forward puts on one of his high flyer acts, look for him to be a breakout player.
I learned quite a bit about Thomas’ game during the Venom Rankings Run. The forward has terrific size, and as he showed during the run, also has a little handle. If he can stretch his game out, look for the skilled forward to be part of a breakthrough Grassroots season.
Sorenson is a card carrying member of my All Showtime team, lights come on, he goes off. He has played well every time I’ve checked him out, so it stands to reason that watching him on the circuit will lead to a similar result. Watch for his ability to shoot, pass and handle to lead to a breakthrough game this Spring.
Highlights
Gomez has a chance to be one of the biggest breakout players this Grassroots season. His size, combined with improving ball skills make him a dangerous versatile player. The multi level scorer is poised to showcase his talents this Spring.
