Ryan Beckwith Ryan Beckwith 6'2" | SG Farmington | 2025 State MN of Northstar Titans (6’3 Sg). I love the way Ryan sets up shots. He is so good at that fast step-back into a quick releasing three. This winter Ryan hit 43 percent of his threes so he is a member of the 40% Club but if you saw him play this weekend or this past winter, you know there is more to Ryan than just shooting. This is a tough player that can make clutch shots and he is really good with a dribble or two setting everything up.
Isaac Cordes Isaac Cordes 6'0" | PG Shakopee | 2025 State MN of Minnesota Fury (6’0 Pg). Isaac Cordes Isaac Cordes 6'0" | PG Shakopee | 2025 State MN is on my list for lead guards that I would look at for the D2 level. Tough? Absolutely. Strong? As strong as any lead guard in his class in this state. Athletic? If you saw the block he had this weekend, or a couple of the attacking finishes, you would be where I’m at right now. And most importantly Cordes is the definition of a point guard that coaches love leading their team on both ends. So steady and smart.
Keller Hanson Keller Hanson 6'4" | SG Sauk Rapids Rice | 2025 State MN of Minnesota Comets (6’4 Sg). This is simple, he’s the best shooter in this class and he has a mentality of confidence and to-hell-with-you that is perfect for the role he plays. This past winter he did well playing a lot of lead guard and this weekend he scored at the rim well. Those items show his all around ability to play, but it’s the shooting touch that can change a game fast with big numbers and that is what makes him special.
Tray Lenzen Tray Lenzen 6'7" | PF Chaska | 2025 State MN of Chaska (6’6 Pf). I came away a big believer in the potential of Tray Lenzen Tray Lenzen 6'7" | PF Chaska | 2025 State MN once again. The Fury is as smart and disciplined of a spring/summer offense as you will find. They do a handful of things offensively and they execute them perfectly. And within that system Lenzen scores in the paint in a constant way. Outstanding weekend of production from the Chaska forward.
Peyton Podany Peyton Podany 6'4" | SG Anoka | 2025 State MN of Anoka (6’3 Sg). I thought Peyton was Select’s best player in the 2.5 games I watched because I thought he was more willing to do things than anybody else, and I thought he did those things well! Defense, rebounding, moving the ball, and making the most of his shot opportunities, that was Peyton whenever he was on the floor.
