This event is overflowing with talent but I was able to put together a list of standout forwards that made plays in and outside of the paint!
Ben Hills Ben Hills 6'5" | CG WI | Ray Allen Select
Hills anchored the paint on both ends for Ray Allen Select . His strong pivots and savvy footwork served him well in the low post area. He is a solid playmaker when facing the weak side of the floor. His patience and toughness to get to the basket earned him frequent visits to the free throw line where he shot a high clip.
Hunter Theil | Powerhouse Sports
Theil was a huge target for Powerhouse. He made himself available for his teammates with high post flashes and low post seals. In high pressure situations he was able to make great decisions and find open shooters. His activity on the boards was also impressive.
Evan Lemons | Flight Athletics
Lemons was highly active in the pick and roll for Flight Athletics. The highly mobile forward showed great awareness when rolling to the basket and finished through contact. His flashes to the dunker spot earned him timely baskets. His athleticism served him greatly in one on one situations in the low post.
Julian Norton | Illinois Future
Norton used his height, length, and high motor to his advantage for Illinois’ future. The lanky forward had his head on a swivel in transition and mid post situations. In one on one scenarios he was able to spin middle or baseline for assists and baskets for himself.
