The 2026 class is a good one but it has started to be hit by attrition as former #2 Gabe Weis has already left for Montverde and it's expected that another top player will be gone out of state this summer. There are still plenty of talented prospects in the class and it's exceptionally deep in the middle with a lot of players who will play D2/NAIA in college. Here's a look at the best Centers in this rankings update.

As mentioned in our New Names article, [player_tooltip player_id='2357272' first='Geu' last='Ateny'] is a force to be reckoned with as he got eligible in February and is only going to get better in the next two years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1543353' first='Jackson' last='Klope'] is a physical bruiser in the post and looks like he's still growing. He's undersized at the 5 right now but if he gets a couple more inches in a growth spurt, he's going to have D1 schools calling frequently.

[player_tooltip player_id='1543591' first='Bryten' last='Close'] is the most polished around the rim in the list. He's developed some nice moves around the bucket and has lost a ton of weight to improve his movement and become a better defender. He has a big summer of AAU ahead.

[player_tooltip player_id='1564305' first='Seth' last='Farmer'] has some solid skill and is an active rebounder. He plays hard and has a good frame that will add bulk in the next two years. If he's done growing, look for Seth to add some perimeter skill and transition to more of a 4 man.

Madison Central has a lot of young talent but [player_tooltip player_id='2175421' first='Matthew' last='Pasley'] is an X factor for them as he's the tallest of the bunch and plays with a pretty good motor. As long as he doesn't fall in love with the three point line, Pasley could become a 4 man who is comfortable putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim.
