<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The PIAA state tournament brackets feature a host of prospects southeastern Pennsylvania who not only impressed us with their basketball skills but were entertaining to watch. Unfortunately, for a host of these players, their high school teams were eliminated from the state tournament early on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Now we will have to wait for the spring AAU circuit or in some cases the start of the 2024-25 college basketball season to watch these athletes take the court again.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With that thought in mind, below is a review of five SEPA prospects whose season ended too soon for us.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1608319' first='KJ' last='Coles'] </strong><strong>– 6'1” / 2026 / Pocono Mt. West / PSA Cardinals / Combo Guard:</strong> Coles (15.9 ppg.) owns elite quickness and a smooth 3-point stroke (69 made threes). When you combine those assets with his constant off ball movement, you get a prospect who is difficult to guard along the arc. He also owns shifty handles, so he can score or distribute off the dribble. Plus, Coles plays with composure beyond his years. He posted 18 points on 4 made threes in PMW's 5A 1st Round loss to Radnor. That setback ended PMW's season as well as their two year home winning streak.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Abdul Jackson </strong><strong>– 6'1” / 2024 / Pottstown / [program_tooltip program_id='2245515' first='NEPA' last='Elite'] / Combo Guard:</strong> Jackson is a three-level scorer who experienced an epic post season run. First, in the District 1-5A tournament Jackson netted 20 points and the game winning bucket in a win over Upper Moreland. Then he posted 20 points including the game tying 3-ball at the horn of the first overtime during the Trojans double OT loss to Radnor. Finally, in the 5A 1st Round of states, Jackson hit for 13 points in a loss to Imhotep. In addition to being a serious scoring threat, the fast and athletic Jackson is plus defender with underrated shot blocking skills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1460814' first='Jaidyn' last='Moffitt'] </strong><strong>– 6'2″ / 2025 / Bensalem / [program_tooltip program_id='2078678' first='East' last='Coast Power'] / Small Forward:</strong> Moffitt's tremendous junior season included leading the Owls to 19 wins and being named as a 1st Team All-Suburban One League selection. Moffitt is an athletic forward with a young Charles Barkley style of play to his game. He registered multiple 20+ point performances this season, including a 27-point effort in win over CB South. In Bensalem's 6A 1st Round loss to Cumberland Valley, Moffitt led the Owls with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Moffit will be prospect to watch on the spring circuit.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2383175' first='Elijah' last='Sellers'] </strong><strong>– 6'3” / 2024 / Radnor / [program_tooltip program_id='2322977' first='610' last='City'] / Small Forward:</strong> This long, agile, and bouncy small forward possesses a nearly automatic jump shot. Sellers is a threat to knock down jumpers from the baseline and in the mid-range. He is a solid transition scoring threat too. During the regular season Sellers averaged 11 points per contest. However, in Radnor's two 5A state tournament games he averaged an attention grabbing 18.5 ppg. Coaches from Penn State-Brandywine (D3) were in attendance to watch Sellers play during Radnor's 5A 2nd Round loss to Archbishop Ryan.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1486760' first='Jahrel' last='Vigo'] </strong><strong>– 6'1” / 2025 / Allentown Central Catholic / [program_tooltip program_id='2078709' first='Team' last='Final'] Red / Combo Guard:</strong> This versatile perimeter prospect with extraordinary athleticism averaged 18.3 ppg. during his junior campaign. Vigo thrives in transition where he can finish or find an open teammate for any easy bucket. In the half court Vigo is a creative off the dribble scorer. Vigo posted games of 35 points and then 25 points in Allentown's two-game 4A state tourney run. Quinnipiac is among the schools who are expressing interest in Vigo.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->

The PIAA state tournament brackets feature a host of prospects southeastern Pennsylvania who not only impressed us with their basketball skills but were entertaining to watch. Unfortunately, for a host of these players, their high school teams were eliminated from the state tournament early on.
