(Note: this is not at all a definitive list, just part of an ongoing series to highlight some New York natives who are deserving of being recruited)
Jervis has been an important piece for Archbishop Stepinac all season, and again stepped up for his team in the CHSAA Title game- finishing with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. A really good shooter who has continued to develop as a playmaker, Jervis is part of a 2026 Crusader class that could be special.

The 6-foot-3 Penix has a quick release from beyond the arc and the ability to get hot in a hurry. In a matchup against now fellow 2026 member Ryan Moesch Ryan Moesch 5’11” | PG Chittenango | 2025 State NY earlier this season he went for 32 points and showed good vision throughout.
Another combo guard with good size, Johnston has enjoyed a very good sophomore season at The Hill School. The 6-foot-5 shooter has shown that he is capable of getting his own shot off the bounce and solid vision with the ball in his hands.

Lloyd has done a bit of everything for an otherwise senior-laden Epic South squad that will take Brooklyn Law & Tech on in the AAA title game at LIU on Monday. At 6-foot-4, his versatility has allowed ESH to play him in a number of different positions and roles.
The sophomore guard has been tasked with running the show for a South Shore team that features St. Joe’s commit Kevin Kearney and fast rising 2025 forward Asher Elson. Despite being an underclassmen, he’s a vocal leader who gets his guys in the right spots and looks to create for others. He has shown a willingness to defend and has forced big turnovers throughout the stretch run. The Vikings take on Eagle Academy II tomorrow night at St. John’s for the PSAL championship.
