(Note: this is not at all a definitive list, just part of an ongoing series to highlight some New Jersey players who are deserving of being recruited)
The New York Native has transferred to St. Benedict’s and the move has paid off. He plays harder than he did at his last school and has the size and skillset of an ideal 3-and-D wing. There are still parts of his game that need work, but there’s no doubting he’s extremely talented.
Highlights
The most high profile player on this list, Hart is an intriguing combo forward with fantastic size for the perimeter who appears to just be starting to his stride in his development. He’s still fairly raw but the flashes are extremely promising.
The move to Blair Academy has paid off as Oliver has gone from guy with potential to outright player. A skilled wing who can really score it when he’s feeling it, or can create as a secondary guy, Oliver will likely pick up a number of offers this Spring.
One of the more intriguing long-term wings in the entire state, Simmons oozes potential. A rangy and athletic slasher, he’s able to put up big numbers when everything is working for him. This AAU season will be an interesting one.
Loughlin is a smooth shooting guard with a quick release who does’nt need much time or space to get his shot off. He’s one of the best shooters in New Jersey and needs to be a priority for colleges looking for a floor spacer this Spring. He plays the right way and the ball doesn’t really ever stick in his hands.
