Prep Hoops Indiana State Finals Preview – Class 4A

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 114th Annual IHSAA Boys Basketball State Tournament culminates on Saturday with four state championship games played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. As always, Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground coverage throughout the day as teams compete for the right to cut down the nets and forever ingrain themselves in the history of Indiana High School Basketball. This week, we will be previewing the state finals with several articles breaking down the action. In 2023, Ben Davis ran the table finishing 33-0 in one of the dominant seasons we've seen in recent history. However, their winning streak was quickly ended to begin this season. The Giants lost on opening night, 74-61 against Fishers, to start the season 0-1. Ben Davis also lost to Warren Central, Franklin Central, Carmel, and Cathedral along the way. In the end though, the Giants have rattled off eight straight and 13 of their last 14 games to reach Gainbridge Fieldhouse. As for Fishers, they have spent the vast majority of the season at or near the top of the state rankings. Led by senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2079500' first='Keenan' last='Garner'] and a deep roster of talent, the Tigers went 28-1 with their lone loss coming to Carmel back on January 27th.
