***Remember that the Semi-State will get redrawn from the eight remaining teams as opposed to maintaining “north” and “south” designation. Still for preview purposes here in the Regional, we will continue to refer to the left side of the bracket as the north and the right side of the bracket as the south.***

Guerin Catholic vs. Indianapolis Washington (Greenfield-Central Regional)

The Continentals of Indianapolis Washington went on what many would call a "magical run" to win Sectional 28 beating both Purdue Poly Englewood and Christel House to get here. On the other, no other team in the state had a more exciting win to end up at the Greenfield-Central Regional than Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles with their buzzer-beater win over Brebeuf Jesuit in Sectional 27. When comparing both of these teams on paper, there are some mismatches in a lot areas of this game and when it comes to pure talent, the Golden Eagles have the edge there with guys like [player_tooltip player_id='1547883' first='Dylan' last='Murans'], [player_tooltip player_id='1275817' first='Robert' last='Sorensen'], [player_tooltip player_id='1386181' first='Jack' last='Cherry'], and others. The player matchup here will be between the two bigs of Guerin Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='2053658' first='Bryson' last='Cardinal'] and Indianapolis Washington's [player_tooltip player_id='1277590' first='Clem' last='Butler']. Butler is more often than not been the biggest player on the floor each and every game, but he has yet to play a big with the motor and fight that Cardinal will give him so it will be an interesting battle. The 6'11 Butler is coming off an impressive 23 points, 23 rebounds, and 5 blocks from last Saturday's win. Washington does have a lot of quickness and athletic ability that make up their roster so that is another factor to throw in here. Can Indianapolis Washington get the big upset here? We will find out on Saturday: The Prediction: Guerin Catholic

Northview vs. Danville (Lebanon Regional)

The Danville Warriors just continue to prove the doubters wrong and continue to win games. They took care of business in Sectional 25 beating Tri-West in the championship game which led to their 21st win of the season. It helps when they have one of the more dominant bigs in all of class 3A in Indiana football signee [player_tooltip player_id='1275801' first='Evan' last='Lawrence'], who has been a game-changer on both ends of the floor averaging 13.0 points per game this year. On the Northview side, they come into the Lebanon Regional having beat Edgewood in the Sectional 26 championship which saw their main guy, 2026 lead guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561022' first='Brayden' last='Goff'] go off for a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. While Knights have only won 14 games this season, they seem to be getting hot at the right time and are a team that Danville cannot look past a this point. Still think the edge goes to Danville here, but do not count out Northview to get the upset win here: The Prediction: Danville

Batesville vs. Scottsburg (Seymour Regional)

The Scottsburg Warriors are many projected them to be this point in the season and they remain the favorite to come out of Class 3A South. The Warriors defeated a tough Silver Creek this past Saturday in the Sectional 30 championship game that saw senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1401893' first='Kody' last='Clancy'] score a game-high 27 points leading them to victory. Scottsburg, of course, still has their 'big three' of Clancy, [player_tooltip player_id='1547386' first='Wyatt' last='Zellers'], and and [player_tooltip player_id='1276470' first='Jack' last='Miller'] so that is still a major advantage for them the rest of the way through. Batesville may be one of the more underrated teams in Class 3A South while not having lost a game since Feb. 3rd having won 9-straight including the Sectional 29 Championship. The Bulldogs are led by junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1373103' first='Cade' last='Kaiser'] and senior wing Sam Johnson who combined average 27.4 points per game. Both teams really has to claw their way here for the most part so both will be battletested at the very least. Should be a good one at Seymour. The Prediction: Scottsburg

Southridge vs. Evansville Bosse (Southridge Regional)

In some form or way, it is a little bit of a surprise that both Southridge and Evansville Bosse made it to this point as they both were not the favorites to make is out of their respective Regionals. Starting with Southridge. they were able to defeated a tough Princeton team to make it out of Sectional 31 and now have the advantage of playing on their home court in this Regionals. The Bosse Bulldogs have been a team that has just gotten better and better throughout the season and are still led by one of the top point guards in the state, [player_tooltip player_id='1158192' first='Taray' last='Howell'] who just went off for 33 points in the Bulldogs' championship win over Evansville Memorial. The addition of Kokomo transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1277565' first='Abdul' last='Mitchell'] has been a huge help, as well. Southridge has the homecourt advantage, but it is hard to bet against Bosse with how hot they are at the moment. The Prediction: Evansville Bosse
