Micah Caster Micah Caster 6'1" | PG Jackson | 2024 State AL (6’1/CG/’24/Jackson)
X: @Micah2Caster
The final four was my first time seeing Micah in action, and you can imagine the type of performance he had that moved him from the number 134 ranked player to the number 13 ranked player. He is an explosive athlete with a scorer’s mentality and is absolutely lethal from behind the arc. He has a very good shooting stroke and made some clutch shots, leading his team to the state championship. He plays with unabashed confidence and emerged as one of the top players in his class, whom many did not know a lot about prior to his performance on the biggest stage of the year.
Jackson Weaver Jackson Weaver 6'2" | PG Vestavia | 2024 State AL (6’2/PG/Vestavia Hills HS)

Jackson has always been a prolific scorer, but he played behind Win Miller, a potent scorer in his own right. This year, Jackson had his entire scoring arsenal on display as he led The Rebels throughout the year as their top-scoring option. He is a multi-level scorer and is a really good dribble-jumper scorer with a repertoire of pull-ups, side steps, and stepbacks. He served as a scorer and a distributor, creating offense for himself and others, and he saw his stock increase over the course of the year. He moved from number 43 to number 17 in the final 2024 rankings.
Jackson Porch Jackson Porch 5'10" | CG Guntersville | 2024 State AL (6’0/CG/’24/Guntersville)

Jackson is a shooting specialist with a flawless shooting release, tremendous balance, a good follow-through, and a quick release on the jump shot. He does a good job freeing himself up for shots by moving without the ball, utilizing ball fakes, and jab steps. He made a case of being one of the best three-point shooters in the state regardless of class with his performance at the BJCC. He is a high-volume shot-taker who is trusted with the ultimate green light. He made a huge move in the rankings as he went from the number 201 ranked player to the number 29 ranked player in the final 2024 rankings.
Davis Glynn Dare (5’9/Point Guard/’24/ACA)

Davis is one of the most underrated PGs in the state, but after leading his team to the final four, he was highly respected by many in the basketball community as well as by opponents he faced. He played more of the combo position, as he had to spend time on and off the ball. His squad was a more efficient team when he was running the PG spot, but they needed his scoring ability throughout the season. Davis frustrates the defense with his ability to score in a variety of ways, and he is full of energy when on the court and never stops attacking. He moved from the number 44 ranked player to the number 33 ranked player in the final 2024 rankings.
Cedric Summerhill Cedric Summerhill 6'4" | PF Muscle Shoals | 2024 State AL (6’3/G|F/’24/Muscle Shoals HS)

One thing that made Cedric an intriguing talent was his versatility on both ends of the floor. He is a physical inside-out player who showed throughout the year the ability to play the 2-5, which he can get away with in the state against most teams. He showed nice skills on the perimeter and a true post-game that was too much for many defenders to handle by themselves. He has quick feet, which allows him to defend guards on the perimeter, and with his physical build and play, he can hold his own against post players. He had some significant movement as he moved from the number 177 ranked player to the number 54 ranked player in the final 2024 rankings.
Isaiah Fuller Isaiah Fuller 6'4" | SF Austin | 2024 State AL (6’5/Wing/’24/Austin)

Isaiah is an athletic wing with good positional size and versatility. He scores it well, particularly with his mid-range, at the cup off the bounce, and out in transition. Isaiah is very comfortable with the ball in his hand and does a good job playing out of triple-threat. His length is a factor on both ends of the floor, as he can elevate over many to get a clear look offensively, while defensively, he can guard multiple positions and, recover quickly and contest shots. He saw his ranking move from the number 190 ranked player to the number 55 ranked player in the final 2024 rankings.
