The Middle School Camp in Minnetonka, Minnesota brought some great young talent and competition together. The 2029 and 2030 class competed against each other in 5-on-5 action. There were three teams in this age group, and we'll look at all three teams and their prospects this week. First, let's start with team 7. Team 7 was built around solid guard play with many ball-handlers and guards that could also play off ball. They showcased their skills and also shared the ball and created for others.

Cody Woitel-Anschutz | 2029 | 6'1” | Forward | Plymouth Middle School (MN) | [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite']

With many guards around him, Cody stood out with his size and he made a large impact in the 5-on-5. He plays with extreme effort and energy on the court. Flies around and affects all areas of the court. Crashes the boards relentlessly and regularly. He simply outworks his competition. Sprints the floor to try and make a play on offense or to hustle back on defense and contest at the hoop. He was constantly getting the 50/50 balls and pursued the ball at a high level. He was a force rebounding the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353796' first='Jaylen' last='Greer'] | 2029 | 5'10” | Guard | Friendly Hills (MN) |

Greer was mentioned in the All-Camp Team article, but it wasn't mentioned that he is a shooter that can stroke it from three-point range as well. He was also competing defensively, playing 3/4 court defense on the ball-handler at times.

Wesley Colvin | 2029 | 5'2” | Guard | E-Stem (MN) | [program_tooltip program_id='2075681' first='Minnesota' last='Magic'] |

Wesley showed a quick and explosive handle on the ball. He would pull off a series of ball-handling moves to set himself up to pull a three. He got to the hoop often, using a quick crossover then attacking the hoop. A dangerous offensive weapon with his aggression as a scorer.

Duke Fowler | 2030 | 5'7” | Guard | Twin Oakes Middle School (MN) | Minnesota Elite |

Fowler is a confident prospect, and you can tell by his skills that he works on his game on his own time. Confident in his shooting ability and isn't afraid to pull a deep one. Has a good handle, where he can perform a series of moves, no problem. Only a 2030, the future looks bright.

Abdullahi Guled | 2029 | 5'3” |
Guard | Fridley (MN) |

Guled had a solid showing, and was quietly a really good and efficient playmaker. He didn't have a ton of offensive opportunities, but when he did he made the most of them, by finishing or knocking down his jumpers. I thought he stood out most defensively, where he could play tight coverage without fouling. He moved fluidly on the court and that helped him defend well.

James also made the All-Camp Team, so he was clearly a standout. He may have been the most sudden and explosive athlete on the court. Elite movement on the court defensively and can explode impressively in the open court and when driving directly at the hoop. He's a blur with a well-rounded skill set. He was going coast-to-coast weaving through the defense like they weren't even there.

Kobe Haynes | 2030 | 4'10” | Point Guard | Woodbury Leadership Academy (MN) | [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] |

Kobe is the definition of a complete and true point guard. An elite handle and feel for the position. He could push the pace or slow things down to get a good look. Did a good job of relieving pressure and creating space with his back dribble and other moves.

Jaiden Gholson | 2030 | 5'1” | Guard | Rosemount (MN) | FSA |

Jaiden competed and came to play at the Middle School camp. A feisty defender that got his hands on the ball a ton. A solid ball-handler, but his main weapon is his shooting ability and range. Sprinted the floor and was always ready.
