Class 1A
Kaveon Miles (6’2/G|F/’25/Georgiana HS)
IG: kaveonmiles_
X: @Kaveon_Miles
Kaveon has good positional size and was a key piece to Georgiana bringing home the championship. He is a high-volume shot taker who saw his shots falling a little bit more in the semifinal game than they did in the finals. If you look at his numbers, you would say he struggled from the field, but he did not allow his streaky shooting to cause him not to do other things to help his team. He shared lead guard responsibilities and helped facilitate the offense, and he really was able to hit the glass and impact the game with his ability to rebound. Don’t be shocked if we see Georgiana back in Birmingham next year.
Class 2A
Eli Pouders (6’6/SG/’25/Mars Hill HS)
IG: carsoneli4
X: PoundersEli23
Eli is a multi-level scorer who really shoots the trey ball well. He can get hot at any moment and really change the course of a game. He is a two-way talent who really gets after it on both ends of the floor. He has an assertive nature to his game and brings energy and effort every minute he is in the game. He isn’t the flashiest player, but he makes plays all over the court. He is the caliber player that his teammates love going into battle with, for you know he is going to bring it every night.
Class 3A
Jaden Sellers (5’9/PG/’27/Midfield HS)
X: JadenSellers3
Jaden is a 2027 kid who showed a lot of promise on the biggest stage of the year, particularly the semifinal game, where he finished with 19pts, leading his squad to a chance to play for the blue map. His stat line was 19pts (7-11 [5-6 3-ptr]). Needless to say, he was fantastic, as he was extremely comfortable and confident while on the floor. He scored from behind the arc off the bounce and off of his c&s opportunities. He is a shifty ball-handler who knives through defenses and creates his own scoring opportunities as well as scoring opportunities for his teammates. The entire Midfield team is young and will be a team to watch next year.
Class 4A
Eric Hines Eric Hines SF ACA | 2025 State AL (6’3/C/’25/American Christian)
IG: hinenes1
X: @Eric_hines2025
Eric is one of the most explosive athletes who will be back on the hardwood next year. His size does not make him the ideal interior presence, but he can get away with the inside play in Alabama. He has an impressive physical profile and is very athletic. He does a good job providing paint production in both the scoring and rebounding columns. He was a key piece to ACA’s playoff run, and he will be looked upon for senior leadership on and off the court next year.
Class 5A
Treyvon Avery Treyvon Avery 6'4" | SF Guntersville | 2025 State AL (6’4/G|F/’25/Guntersville HS)
IG: treyvonavery03
X: @treyvonAvery3
Treyvon is a two-way talent with good positional size. He showed his ability to balance scoring and facilitating. He is a tough iso scorer who lives in the paint and whose game draws fouls. He often finds himself at the charity strike, as he is constantly looking for ways to get to the cup, drawing the whistle as he tries finishing in traffic. He also does a good job of creating for his teammates when he is penetrating off the bounce. He has good vision and passing skills and does a good job finding his shooters for clean looks. He is active on the defensive end of the floor and is very instinctive as a help-side defender. He will be a key piece to another potential run by Guntersville next year.
Class 6A
Jordan Lindsey Jordan Lindsey 6'0" | PG Buckhorn | 2025 AL (5’10/PG/’25/Buckhorn HS)
IG: jclindsey12
Jordan made significant plays throughout the playoffs, helping Buckhorn capture its second straight championship. He has really developed into one of the best on-ball defenders in the state. He is quick on his feet and has very active hands. He isn’t afraid of taking the assignment and guarding the opposing team’s best player. He made some key buckets and free throws in the championship game, but his calling card is his on-ball defense.
Class 7A
Evan Toms (6’7/C/’27/Huntsville HS)
IG: evan.toms34
Evan is a Freshman who has been able to sit back and learn a lot from Caleb Harrison Caleb Harrison 6'9" | PF Huntsville | 2024 State AL and Josh Bowman Josh Bowman 6'8" | C Huntsville HS | 2025 State AL . The Panthers coaching staff is very excited about the upcoming off-season for Evan. They believe he will be able to step in and play a significant back-up role to Josh, who will replace Caleb in the starting line-up. Evan has a very solid skillset with developing footwork. He is not as tall as Caleb and Josh as of right now, but having a 6’7 big come off the bench is not a bad thing. Evan is definitely a kid we will be looking forward to watching next year.
