The Columbus Explorers have tasted glory after winning three consecutive state championships behind one of the nation's premier national prospects, [player_tooltip player_id='1301714' first='Cameron' last='Boozer'] who has dominated the 7A class in the past few years. He scored 24 points with double-double rebound numbers to add. Columbus earned another 7A title after defeating a very talented Oak Ridge team in a 72-67 overtime showdown. The team steamrolled their way to the state matchup with only four losses this season and finishing with a 27-4 record. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1301715' first='Cayden' last='Boozer'] added 16 points and has also made huge impacts to give this team a chance to 7A state championships. Can they pull off four state championships with these two brothers returning next season?

What a season for this Pembroke Pines Charter program who defeated a rising Edgewater team 59-55 to take home the 6A state championship trophy. It's just their second state title in program history. The Jaguars finished the season with a 25-4 record after being led by seniors [player_tooltip player_id='1722577' first='Josh' last='Harris'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1306091' first='Jeremy' last='Elyzee']. Harris finished the championship matchup with 13 points while Elyzee had an impressive 22 points to help close out the Eagles. Pembroke Pines will look to build on this year's success but will lose three of its top senior scorers.
5A
Norland dominated in the 5A state championship game against a talented Blake program with a 61-48 victory. The Vikings had a solid 21-10 season but were obviously determined to make it happen in the postseason while playing some of their best ball. It's the 7th state title for Norland who closed out Blake with an impressive defensive performance and were led by top scorer [player_tooltip player_id='1163363' first='Triston' last='Wilson'] with 23 points. The Vikings will look to rebuild next season since the team will lose over 80% of its senior production.
