A big-bodied forward with the strength at 6-foot-7 to burrow through defenders inside, yet the nimble feet and handle to weave through traffic to the hoop. He’s got a smooth stroke out to 3 and excels in the midrange and with turnarounds from the blocks. Has real potential as a two-way threat and already shows the ability to send shots back and get his hands out to steal passes inside. A real prospect to watch who continues to solidify his stock as one of the more versatile forwards in his class.
Showed his major potential defensively at the state tournament, locking down players on the perimeter with his big wingspan and displaying great anticipation as a help side defender to steal passes and block shots. Also an adept cutter and rebounder on the offensive end that leads to timely rim finishes. Can knock down the jumper in the midrange pretty effectively and shows good awareness on both ends of the floor. One of the better, more versatile defenders in his class.
Athletic rim-running forward who gets out in the open floor, excels in pick and rolls, and is tough on the boards. Can knock down the short jumpers around the paint and continues to expand his consistency further out. Big motor player who works hard for position down low and affects the game on the glass on both ends. Quickly raising his stock and will be a key player for Roosevelt again next season.
Highlights
A strong, athletic wing who shows real potential with the jumper and was a first-team all-league selection this season. Handles well enough to move the ball and create from the perimeter while showing the strength to get shots up with defenders right on him. His length and athleticism also make him a viable defender against multiple positions.
A forward from Eastern Washington who plays with power and touch, showing he can knock down the outside shots at a decent rate while also being able to bang inside and work the glass. Good enough handle to make a move and get downhill without getting out of control. Hard worker all over the court and a physical presence that makes opposing teams feel his strong frame throughout the game.
