White has shown us he has a solid all-around game but he’s also a guy who can lock down a wide range of offensively gifted players. He can chip in buckets, and handle the ball, but he’s typically been a guy who can put all his focus on making stops defensively and let the rest of the game come to him in rhythm. His size and quickness allow him to guard all types of players and make him a key defender on any team.

Showed his major potential defensively at the state tournament, locking down players on the perimeter with his big wingspan and displaying great anticipation as a help side defender to steal passes and block shots. Also an adept cutter and rebounder on the offensive end that leads to timely rim finishes. Can knock down the jumper in the midrange pretty effectively and shows good awareness on both ends of the floor. One of the better, more versatile defenders in his class.

White made a ton of hustle plays that proved huge in a close game against Eastside Catholic and really read the floor well to jump some passes, step over for blocks in the lane, and save some balls that led to points. He also came up with some big buckets on offense, knocking in open looks with the jumper and forcing the defense to worry about him when the ball came his way.
