Stecklein provided valuable interior defense for a quickly improving George Washington roster. The 6’6 forward has some athletic chops as well, capable of getting up for two handed dunks past contests. His size and mobility make him a viable defensive swingman. Stecklein’s shot blocking volume over this season has been an area of intrigue, certainly active on help side rotations.

Nutting was particularly efficient throughout his senior year, a reliable shooter behind the arc. His height advantage made oncoming closeouts useless, able to shoot right over the top. Following a hard closeout or rotating defense, they were assertive reacting to openings in the lane. Alongside his efficiency, Nutting brought defense for that Fossil Ridge group, actively taking on much stronger opponents when needed.

Renteria improved his three point efficiency over the course of his senior season, a strong sign for the guard’s offensive growth. An active baseline slasher while away from the ball, Renteria has been a scoring option under different circumstances. Glenwood Springs was among the better Western Slope programs in part due to their depth, Renteria’s impact cannot be overlooked regarding their regional success.

Starcevich is a strong forward who made his mark around the rim and within transition. Certainly worth a look due to his motor and positional frame, Skyline benefitted mightily by his presence. Within transition, Starcevich consistently attacked the rim, embracing contact while in the driving lanes.

Although only a few spots, Asp has asserted himself as one of the more impactful two-way wings in this class. They are effective playing above the rim from either end of the floor, displaying quite a few eye opening dunks this fast season. They bring plenty of versatility on the defensive side of the floor, capable matching up 1-3 as needed. Maintaining the perimter jumper will be essential to Asp’s success at the next level.

Continuing to grow, Alleman now stands right around 6’10 bringing in a wide reach and steadily improved athleticism over the past 18 months. He still remains one of the higher upside defensive candidates, producing plenty of blocks this season. His especially wide reach allows him to be a consistent dunker at the rim, with few opponents able to get up without fouling.

Nellessen is another highly intriguing forward due to his shooting upside off the catch, all at roughly 6’8. Fairly nimble while maneuvering the open floor, they are always a threat to swat away shot attempts while in transition. Opponents must stay alert to avoid Nellessen, given his mobility and wide reach. The Monarch forward stands as one of best unsigned options along the wing.
