2024 Rankings: Rising guards

He controlled the offense really well all season long, showing strong leadership and fantastic passing abilities. He earned 4A NPSL MVP honors this season and proved to everyone he is a big time player and should be getting big time looks. He has many games scoring over 30 points and even dropped over 40 a couple times. He's a dynamic guard who's athleticism will surprise you. His handles are impressive, as it seems like he keeps the ball on a string. He runs the pick and roll smoothly, being able to find his open teammates or pull up mid-range to hit the jumper. His quick release helps him get his shot off before the defenders are able to react, leading to many open threes. Swanson knows the game well and his strengths, playing to those easily no matter what the defense is throwing at him. The 6'3u0022 guard/wing had a great senior year, showing he can score at all 3 levels smoothly. He can also find his teammates nicely, having great vision on the court. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions and often guarded the best player on the opposing teams, doing a fantastic job. He's a solid guard who has an electric deep shot and knows how to play to his strengths on the court. He controls the pace of the game well and does the little things each time he's on the court.
