Washington is going to be a steal when all is said and done, but has many MM programs fighting for his signature for next year. He’s an explosive scorer with excellent ability to get his own shot and knock it down easily. His pure shooting ability combined with a 6’6 frame that is athletic makes him an obvious Division 1 talent. Duquesne, Saint Bonaventure, Wichita State and Queens are just a few schools that have offered him.
Love is a name to know at 3A contender Southern Guilford as a wing/forward who is flying extremely under the radar. Only armed with an offer from D3 power Guilford, the forward is looking like he’ll have all the makings of a great college player with a high workrate on the glass on both ends, and an ability to finish through contact and defenders in order to get to the rim. Should be an impact pickup at a D2 or D3 in the area.

Umstead actually recently picked up an offer from Oberlin College, and he’ll be looking to make a college decision soon. He’s a physical forward that plays well out of ball screens, stretches the floor, and has nice touch in the post and around the rim. Really good in space and having an ability to get his balance and finish. Something he could look to improve before he gets to school is his back to the basket post game, but he may be just as competent as a driver and finisher offensively.

Smith has a flamethrower and can score from anywhere inside half court, as evidenced by his performances at Morehead HS all season long. He’s averaging 30.9 PPG and can knock down the three ball, make moving shots in the mid-range or get to the rim with relative ease. He played well with PSB Elite last summer, so it is surprising that he still doesn’t have any offers that we’re aware of. Someone who is their school’s all time scorer and the 2nd leading scorer of all time in his county behind Breon Pass should be off the board soon.

Wilkerson has been a POY candidate for Walkertown this season and has been a great creator and scorer for his group. He’s been able to consistently make good reads to find his teammates and take care of the ball, limiting unforced errors on his end. Also a good scorer who can create well inside the arc. With an offer from Toccoa Falls, he’s shown he has an option to play already, but who knows where he might end up.
Lattimore has been the leader of this Ben L Smith team all season long, and brings a lot more to the table than the outside shooting you normally see. He’s a great leader who plays with passion and IQ all 32 minutes every night, and makes his team better with just his calming presence on the court. Of course, he can really shoot it from deep too, and also shows off some simple creation ability where he can find his teammates. He’s got 2 D2 offers, but will look to either commit there or work for other offers soon.
