Endymion Tyus Endymion Tyus PG Tanner | 2026 State AL (6’1/PG/’26/Tanner)
Endymion is one of the quickest PGs I have seen since the playoffs began. He has a quick 1st step that left defenders playing catch-up. He has end-to-end speed, which was seen as he was constantly pushing the pace and getting his team out in transition, resulting in easy buckets. He was in attack mode from the jump. He constantly put pressure on the rim, collapsing the defense and finding open teammates for open looks. He is an outstanding facilitator who is creative as a distributor and is the guy that makes Tanner go. He finished with the following stat line: 7pts (2-8 [0-3 3-ptr]), 9rebs, 6-assist.
Brady Wilson (6’6/F/’25/Decatur Heritage)
IG: bradywilson01
Brady is an Auburn baseball commit with a nice game on the hardwood. Let me say this about Brady: he can flat-out shoot the rock. Whether it was c&s looks or created shots off the bounce, he can get it done from behind the arc. He has good positional size and showed a nice interior game with his offensive versatility. He is a tough shot-maker, is active on the glass, and is a willing defender. He finished with the following stat line: 13pts (4-14 [3-9]); 8rebs.
Cam’Ron Dooley (6’5/G|F/’24/Valley HS)
Cam is one of the most dynamic scorers in the state. He is a multi-level scorer and really gets downhill with his quick burst. He does a good job absorbing contact on the drive, often initiating the contact, which defenders find difficult to contend with. Not much is talked about Cam and his Valley squad as they are so close to the GA/AL state line, but the defending champions have their sight set on repeating as state champs. If teams do not find a way to slow down Cam’s potent scoring, there is no need to doubt why they won’t repeat. In the Sweet 16 match-up against Sylacauga, Cam, the University of Kentucky football commit, finished with the following stat line: 29pts (11-17 [1-3 3-ptr]) 12rebs.
Vincent Burrell Vincent Burrell 6'3" | SF Midfield | 2025 State AL (6’3/F/’25/Midfield)
On a team filled with 9th and 10th graders and no seniors, Vincent is one of three juniors on the Patriots squad. It has taken the entire season, but you can see that Vincent has finally settled into his role and embraced the expectations surrounding him within the program. He is very athletic and was a match-up problem for Carbon Hill guards during their Sweet 16 match-up. He causes problems on both ends of the floor with his athleticism. He is tough to contain in the open floor, which is where he is at his best. When he is playing the way he did against Carbon Hill, he makes Midfield a very tough team to deal with. He finished with the following stat line: 23pts (10-13); 8rebs.
Jalen Bowens Jalen Bowens 6'2" | SF Muscle Shoals | 2024 State AL (6’2/SF/’24/Muscle Shoals)

Jalen showed a lot of versatility in his squad’s Sweet 16 match-up against Cullman. He plays inside and out and was very productive looking for his offense as well as creating for his teammates. He had a very efficient night scoring the rock and does a good job slashing through the defense. As good as he was scoring, he also showed his ability to initiate the offense. He finished with the following stat line: 13pts (6-8 [1-2 3-ptr])
Fredrick Derrick (5’10/PG/’25/Buckhorn HS)

Buckhorn was down 32-21 at the half, and social media was on fire as people pondered if the defending state champs would be taken out by Clay-Chalkville during the Sweet 16. Had it not been for the play of Fredrick, AKA Fred-Fred, the deficit at the half would have been greater. While Caleb Holt Caleb Holt 6'5" | SG Buckhorn | 2026 State AL struggled to find his offense, Fred-Fred carried his squad on the offensive end of the floor. He has always balanced scoring and facilitating, but for the first half, he did an exceptional job scoring from deep and off the bounce. He finished the game with the following stat line: 17pts (6-10 [2-4 3-ptr])
