Some teams pulled off big wins on the road with players having big performances to help their teams win. Here are the prospects who helped their teams pull off the road victories.
Saif Al-Deen Saleh Saif Al-Deen Saleh 6'8" | C Clifton | 2024 State NJ , 6’8 C Clifton 2024
Al-Deen Saleh was a force down low for the Mustangs as he recorded a double-double with 11 points and 18 rebounds. The 6’8 post used his strong frame to get position down low and was able to draw contact down low. Al-Deen Saleh showed a nice touch around the basket and set strong screens in the halfcourt. He ripped down rebounds at both ends of the floor and influenced a number of shots around the basket. Al-Deen Saleh is a tough, post prospect who should continue to dominate the glass in the North Jersey 1 Group 4 quarterfinals.
Hashim Nadir Hashim Nadir 6'4" | PF Linden | 2024 State NJ , 6’4 PF Linden 2024
Nadir was a difference-maker for the Tigers as he had a team-high 16 points and six rebounds. The 6’4 forward has a good touch around the rim and rarely forced shots in the halfcourt. Nadir has a nice release on his jumper and moved well without the ball in his hands. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and held his ground on the defensive end. Nadir is a gritty forward prospect who does whatever it takes to help his team win games.
Marlon Torres Marlon Torres 5'10" | PG Covenant College Prep | 2025 NJ , 5’10 PG Passaic 2024
Torres was electric on Wednesday night as he poured in 26 points. The 5’10 guard was dynamic with the ball in his hands as he used his handle to blow by his defender and finish at the rim. Torres also drilled four triples as he shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc and wasted little motion in his jumper. He showed the ability to play off the ball and slid his feet on the defensive end. Torres is a dynamic guard prospect who is looking to eclipse the 20-point mark again on Monday night.
Brady Adams, G Jackson Memorial 2025
Adams was crucial to the Jaguars’ upset victory over Howell as he scored a team-high 17 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with two seconds left in the game. The junior guard was unafraid of taking big shots in crunch time and wasted little motion in his jumper. Adams moved well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the halfcourt. He moved his feet on the defensive end and made good decisions with the ball in his hands. Adams’ ability to hit clutch shots down the stretch will be key for Jackson Memorial in the Central Jersey quarterfinals.
Jazmir Taylor, 5’10 PG Irvington 2026
Taylor led the Blue Knights with 15 points in their road win over Hunterdon Central. The 5’10 guard has a good handle, which he used to blow by his defender and finish around the basket. Taylor was able to draw contact down low and was also able to score in the mid-range. He played solid on-ball defense and did not get rattled by on-ball pressure. Taylor has the ability to put up points in bunches, which will help Irvington in the next round of the state tournament.
