Sa’ir Alsbrooks | 6’5 F 2024 MCS
With a battery in his back, Alsbrooks did everything in his power to get his Elephants past the Constitution in the semifinals. For starters, he pulled down 12 rebounds, a few of which resulted in second-chance points. Secondly, he made selfless plays that filled the stat sheet. His 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks put them over the top. And lastly, the senior forward scored inside and out. Alsbrooks did his damage in the post in the first half, then knocked down two of his three triples in the second, tallying a game-high 23 points. He did more of the same in the chip, adding in 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.
Perry Fields Perry Fields 6'1" | CG Constitution | 2024 State PA | 6’2 G 2024 Constitution
Fields simultaneously raised his team’s floor and ceiling in their semifinal loss to MCS. As the team’s leader in scoring, he put up 19 points on fastbreaks, tough drives, and cuts to the rim, plus a catch-and-shoot three. But he didn’t take a play off on defense either, getting 4 rebounds, grabbing 2 steals and blocking 3 shots.
Ahmad Nowell Ahmad Nowell 6'0" | PG Imhotep Charter | 2024 State #36 Nation PA | 6’2 G 2024 Imhotep
Nowell set the tone early in the semifinals with two first-quarter threes. But the UConn signee didn’t just lead all scorers with 20 points. He mixed it up on defense too. With 3 steals and multiple deflections, Nowell forced turnovers that produced a bevy of transition buckets for the Panthers. He chipped in 5 rebounds and 3 assists as well.
RJ Smith RJ Smith 5'8" | PG Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA | 5’9 G 2026 Imhotep
The sophomore point guard mostly set the table and played great defense in the semifinals with 4 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals. The championship went another way. He initiated the offense and provided pressure at the point-of-attack early on, but got into foul trouble that limited him in the second and third quarters. Then Smith came alive in the fourth, as MCS clawed their way back into the game. He drilled a three off-the-catch from Nowell, hit a floater, and made two free throws to secure the title. His 11 points and 4 assists also earned him the MVP.
