1. Lutheran West (15-2)
After winning a bunch of tight games in a row, the Longhorns were finally beat by Saint Ignatius and Archbishop Hoban. They got back to their winning ways with a 41 point win over rival Fairview. They play their other rival Lutheran East tomorrow night.
2. Cincinnati Wyoming (16-0)
Unbeaten and playing their best basketball, Wyoming just defeated conference rival Mariemont by over 30 points on Tuesday! Big game against Cincinnati St Xavier is the biggest hurdle to a perfect regular season.
3. Columbus Bishop Hartley (14-1)
A team that keeps racking up quality win after quality win, Hartley is rolling since a loss to Jonathan Alder. Their tough schedule continues with games against Mansfield Senior, Bishop Watterson and Columbus DeSales this month.
4. Kettering Alter (11-4)
Taking Westminster Academy to the buzzer and losing the next day to Westerville North is nothing to be ashamed about. Alter will look to get back in the winning ways after falling to Linsly last week.
5. Lexington (17-1)
Impressively handling almost anyone that steps in their way, the Minutemen lone loss came to Gahanna at a neutral site. They play Ottawa Glandorf to end the regular season.
6. CVCA (16-1)
Wins over Toledo Emmanuel Chrisitan, Triway, Brush and University School is an impressive track record for a Division II school. A team to watch in northeast Ohio for the playoffs.
7. Youngstown Ursuline (12-2)
Their only losses are to Division I schools and they’ve dominated teams in the greater Youngstown area this season. Could this be the season they get up the hump and make a deep playoff run?
8. Shelby (13-2)
An 18 point win over Mansfield Senior shows that the Whippets are on the right track after tough losses to Lexington and Ottawa Glandorf. They could rematch Lexington in the playoffs to try and get revenge.
9. Tri Valley (13-3)
A victory over Upper Arlington shows the tough scheduling for Tri Valley is paying off. They did fall to conference rival New Lexington but the Scotties still hold the top spot in the MVL.
10. Creston Norwayne (14-1)
I had Norwayne on the outside looking in but a win over Medina at the buzzer on the road sees them sneak into the top 10 with just one loss on the year.
