With some matchups at Ravenscroft being set Tuesday night, we saw some big time performances from guys to get their teams to the state championship game or semifinals. Read below for a half dozen of those standouts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1603895' first='Carlos' last='Vasquez'] - Wayne Country Day

Vasquez led all scorers with 22 points in the tight win over Fayetteville Academy, showcasing his unique blend of size and shotmaking ability. He continually attacked the paint and looked to draw contact at the rim and play in the mid-range all game long, scoring 9 of his points in the last period.

[player_tooltip player_id='951365' first='Keenan' last='Wilkins'] - Christ School

He had 15 points to lead Christ School's scorers @ Covenant Day, continually probing and attacking at the lead guard spot. He made plays for both himself and his teammates, including a few big shots to stop Covenant Day from continuing their run. One of the best unsigned senior guards left in the state, it's time for him to pick a school soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1990411' first='Isaiah' last='Denis'] - Davidson Day

32 points on road @ Trinity Christian as fellow author Charles Clark in his article had to say that he was "controlling the pace of the game, scoring all three levels and being very efficient throughout the night." As he continues to pick up HM interest, he will also be key to the Patriots run at a state title with their side of the bracket being now wide open.

[player_tooltip player_id='2287864' first='Charles' last='Chienggen Pur'] - Burlington Christian

The reason the bracket is so wide open in 2A is because of Pur, with his 25 points and 3 threes @ TBS. He flashed some guard skills as well as an ability to stretch the floor that we haven't seen much from him yet in his short high school career. He's got a shot to be an impactful player for BCA in a big matchup tomorrow night with DDS.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672428' first='Logan' last='Johnson'] - United Faith Christian

Johnson was one of many who contributed for UFCA in a dominant semifinal win, recording 12 points and 8 assists over Crossroads Christian. Continues to be a great table setter in his complimentary point guard role, as well as being quick, shifty and a good slithery finisher at the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1078979' first='Bobby' last='Cannon Jr'] - FCDS

Cannon returned to his dominant self for FCDS' semifinal win over Concord Academy. Cannon had a stat line of 20 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks, showing off how he continues to be an elite rim protector and how he can finish at the basket. Able to finish around or through a guy, collecting some poster dunks as well.
