Bandys 65 – Lincolnton 62
Senior guard Micah Slaughter Micah Slaughter 6'0" | SG Bandys | 2024 NC beat the buzzer to hand Lincolnton another loss in Catawba Valley Conference action and give Bandys High their fourth victory in a row to kick off the month of February. They’re a well-rounded group that’s starting to peak at the right time for the Trojans.
Garner 68 – Clayton 60
The Garner Trojans evened things up in the Greater River Neuse Conference in handing the Clayton Comets their first conference loss in the regular season on Friday night. Cam Reyes Cam Reyes 6'0" | CG Garner | 2025 State NC led the charge for the Trojans with 19 points in the victory as they avenged a home loss from a few weeks ago.
North Iredell 88 – 80 North Lincoln
North Iredell pulled off an upset on Friday night in Western Foothills Conference action with an 88-80 victory over North Lincoln High. The win gives them their fifth conference victory on the year and puts them at .500 in the standings while also putting a stain on the Knights conference record. The Knights are now 7-3 in conference action and battling a two-game losing streak.
Mount Tabor 62 – Davie 56
Mount Tabor High handed the War Eagles their second loss on the year on Friday night as they got head coach Andy Muse his 600th career victory. Jadon Blair Jadon Blair 6'5" | SF Mount Tabor | 2025 State NC continues to make a name for himself in the 2025 class while Shamarius Peterkin Shamarius Peterkin 6'3" | CG Mount Tabor | 2025 State NC and Campbell Scurry also contributed as double-figure scorers.
East Wake 77 – West Johnston 68
East Wake High is quietly building a nice resume under first-year head coach Craig Wilson as they’ve won their 10th straight game in Quad County Conference action as they sit atop the standings at 10-0 to begin the month of February. Ben Fox Ben Fox 6'3" | SG East Wake | 2025 State NC has them playing well since he’s gotten back healthy. He went off for 50 points back on Jan. 26 in a victory over Southern Wayne.
South Caldwell 64 – Watauga 62
The South Caldwell Spartans pulled off an upset in Northwestern Conference action to push their record to 5-1 in the standings. They overcame a double-double from Josiah Railey Josiah Railey 6'0" | CG Watauga | 2025 State NC and 17 points from Cade Keller Cade Keller 5'11" | PG Watauga | 2026 State NC to escape with a victory. The Spartans outscored the Pioneers 18-12 in the fourth quarter.
Southwest Onslow 72 – Kinston 62
Southwest Onslow handed the Kinston Vikings their first loss in East Central Conference action on Friday night as the Stallions are now 7-1 in conference action. They’ve won five straight games as Rue Chapman Rue Chapman 6'1" | PG Southwest Onslow | 2025 State NC continues to lead the way for them at 14-5 on the season.
Lake Norman 82 – West Cabarrus 66
The Wildcats have now won nine games in a row following their 82-66 victory over West Cabarrus on Friday night. They’re alone atop the Greater Metro Conference standings at 8-0 as Tre McKinnon Tre McKinnon 6'5" | SF Lake Norman High | 2025 State NC recently surpassed the 1,000 point plateau as well.
