Friday Night Splashy
After last nights 65-47 win over McLaughlin, the Warriors have a 13-4 record. Barfuss looked tough again last night and went for 18 points, 4 boards, and 6 assists.
I have said this before, but Dre has been unstoppable since Christmas. It looks like he has turned himself into an All-State baller. Last night, the Demons hit the century mark in their win over the Blue Jays (100-64). Austin recorded an impressive Triple-Double, 18 points, 12 assists, 10 rebounds.
The skilled scoring soph showed it again last night, Pfau went for a cool 17 points. His future continues to look bright!
Ellwein balled out in Aberdeen, the Super soph erupted in 30 points!
The Lynx are smoking hot, after last nights game, they are on a 9 game win streak. Miller scored a game high 23 points and was phenomenal from deep, 6/7 on triples.
He scored double-digit points and surpassed the 500 point mark for his career. Westphal is now the All-Time Leading Scorer in Horace Hawks history! First player to ever score 500 points. Congrats Mr. Westphal!
Highlights
DLB took town South Prairie/Max 66-51. Braylon Fisher Braylon Fisher 6’2″ | SG Des Lacs-Burlington | 2024 State ND continued his high level of play, he went for 18 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
Caden had another productive game and went for 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, stat stuffer! Beauchamp and the Arrows took down Roosevelt 80-77 for a monster win.
Mr. Clutch, Cole Wilber Cole Wilber 5’10” | CG Grand Forks Central | 2025 State ND was hot last night! He knocked down 5 triples and scored 27 points in the Knights 72-66 win over West Fargo.
The Trojans beat down the Bulldogs for Madison from a 61-56 win. Diaper Dandy, Connor Mebius Connor Mebius 5’8″ | PG West Central | 2027 State SD showed out once again with 27 points and 6 triples! Talk about a bright future….
Jefferson cruised to a 78-51 victory over Brookings. Sechser had a nice game with 18 points, 6 boards, and two dimes.
The Arrows picked up another big win, they upset SF Roosevelt 80-77. Rawdon led the way with 22 points, added in 4 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Highlights
St. Romain is back from injury and he helped the Coyotes take care of business against the Saints for a 75-60 win. Isiah went for 24 points and 6 rebounds.
The frosh had a breakout performance in the OT thriller, Mr. Knudson scored 20 points and he was 7/8 from the FT-line. What a game for a 9th grader against a high quality Faith squad.
The Longhorns look the L in OT but the lefty flamethrower was splashy and put up 27 points.
The Arrows pierced the armor of the Rough Riders last night and they went home with an 80-77 victory! Olson had a nice game with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Tish continued his high-level of play and scored 29 points and collected 7 boards. Dakota Valley beat Dell Rapids 69-52.
Highlights
The Huskies dominated against the Grovers for a 76-55 win. King had a huge game. Jayden had 22 points on 10/13 shooting, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals, 2/3 FT’s. King basically scored every time he touched the ball in the first half. Jayden King Jayden King 6’4″ | PF Wahpeton | 2024 State ND has surprised me this season and is one of the best breakout players in Class A. He should seriously be considered for Senior Athlete of the Year in Region 1.
Faulkton crushed Langford 77-30. The All-Stater Mr. Cotton had a historic night. Layne poured in 52 POINTS! Congrats to Cotton on setting the school record for points in a single game with 52, impressive!
The Thorpes win again! After last nights W, #3 Pine Ridge has a 15-1 record. Marvin went for 24 points in the 72-59 win over Lakota teach, he is looking like an All-State baller this year.
The MOPO Tigers picked up a monster OT win against Faith. Wald was a dude and went for 21 points and 8 rebounds.
He impressed me this fall at the PH Expo and Benter was fantastic on Friday! Burke beat Gayville-Volin 63-60 and Benter scored a game high 34 points.
Henderson was a beast in the OT win over Faith. Shane recorded a Double-Double (20 points & 12 rebounds), he also had 3 impressive dunks!
Lincoln lost 66-56 but it was exciting to see the talented soph get some buckets. De Groot scored 16, grabbed 5 rebounds, and dished 1 assist. The sky is the limit for this Patriot.
Spencer is having an excellent season and is scoring heavy points. He did it again last night and poured in 27. The Raiders took the L but Karstens proved again that he is a lethal offensive weapon.
Beulah crushed Watford City 77-34. Beauchamp was explosive in the scoring column and poured in 30 points.
