He impressed me this fall at the PH Expo and Benter was fantastic on Friday! Burke beat Gayville-Volin 63-60 and Benter scored a game high 34 points.

Reed did himself a lot of favors with his performance. Doing it in front of a handful of college coaches was major. Holds an NAIA offer from Mount Marty University. They were in attendance and had to like what they saw from him. He showed a skilled handle on the ball where he could create and put a series of moves on to keep the defense moving.

WHY? He was unraked before this event and I had never watched Benter player. He certainly made a fantastic first impression. Reed shot it hot at the Expo. I liked his size, build, demeanor, and mobility. Benter scored in transition with his athleticism and skill. He also changed the game with his jump shot from the perimeter. Reed can fill it up from deep. After Sunday, it is clear that we need to get this Cougar on our watchlist for the winter season.
